All round great food.12/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOur group was celebratingOur group was celebrating a friend's retirement. We requested a special table and named the friend in the online reservation. We were shown to a beautiful table directly in front of one of the fireplaces, away from the general dining area - perfect for conversation and relative privacy!
The meals were fabulous. Prime rib arrived perfectly cooked and beautifully trimmed, which meant no large portions of fat left on the plate. We appreciated the meals that included a soup or salad - we enjoyed the generous garlic laced Caesar salad as well as the heart, flavorful seafood chowder.
Our friend was touched by the complimentary dessert as well as the signed card from our servers, along with a complimentary dessert voucher. Great food for the money and service made us feel very special !! We will be going back very soon, there is so many things I would like to try on the menu. It was a Saturday night and the place was pretty empty and I'm not sure why... the food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was great. We wanted to eat in the bar to watch the hockey game and they were very accommodating. I went for the seafood and I provably should have order the steak. The fish was way over cooked so even when the flavor was good the texture was mediocre. My fault for not ordering their main product, Beef. Although our steaks (filet mignons) were a little undercooked for medium,
we still enjoyed the meals!
