I like this place as food is good and service not a problem. But last night was disappointing as had wait an additional half hour to get seated. The server not sure if was his first day but not overly friendly. It was disappointing but be back again. Just not be returning anytime soon.

We had the prime rib dinner and the short ribs. My wife had the French onion soup and it was pretty salty, as were the vegetable sides and prime rib. Ceasar salad had too much dressing. But overall, it was very good and in line with the high salt level of this type of higher end chain restaurant. Prime rib and short ribs were very tender. Whipped potatoes were very good. Vegetables cooked to the right level. Comparable to, or better than the Keg.

We were out for dinner to celebrate our 39th anniversary. The staff greeted us with warm wishes and the hostess that took us to our table and even took the time to ask us questions on how and where we met. Chris came to our table and introduced himself and he too wished us well on our occasion. He was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested some house food and wine favorites. Our food arrived quick and hot and was delicious. Chris was attentive to our needs throughout our dinner. At the end of our meal he presented us with an anniversary card signed by some of the staff and some other goodies. It's been a long time since we have had a dining experience such as this and we highly recommend this steakhouse to all. Perfect evening

30 minute wait after we arrived. Packed into a tiny table. Wine served in bleach-smelling glasses. Drinks came sporadically, some waiting another 15 minutes. Dinners started coming out after waiting over an hour, and still forgot 2 guests' dishes. No matter, because all were COLD. Cold, overdone and dry steaks. Complaints ignored until we demanded to see the manager. The "Manager" (if she was that) handled situation VERY badly, just inflaming already angry guests. Adding insult to injury, the last dish came out 30 minutes later while she was standing there, to which she had the audacity to suggest this somehow made things right. Place lacks food quality control and staff is not trained. Pitiful.

60th birthday occasion. Good service. Smoked rib eye was quite sinewy. My wife's prime rib had some unknown sauce on it and lacked beef flavor. The last straw was that the Chop did not even comp a desert for my 60th even though they were made aware at the time of booking. So having said all this the lack of quality beef plus not even an acknowledgement of my 60th put us off this restaurant and it is highly unlikely we will return.

We have been to Chop on quite a few occasions and this is the first time we have been let down, the service was great, the dessert was awesome but the rest was less than average, my husbands meal was cold, mine was warm at best and my prime rib was tough. We were so disappointed and it was noisy,

Service was fabulous, but the food was nothing special. We ordered the lobster fettuccini. It tasted like regular pasta sauce thrown on some noodles with two dry, rubbery pieces of lobster on too. For $24, I could have made it way better at home. I will happily go to The Keg next time - at least I know I'll be happy with the food.

I had made a reservation for 7:45 for me and my mother and after a short wait we were seated and given two free drinks on the house, our appetizers took longer than usual to come out, the steakhouse cheese toast was amazing, however the "chop experience" salad leaves a lot to be desired.. we both ordered the steak Oscar, and after a 45 minute wait they finally arrived, with my fries barely warm and both steaks loaded with grisly and sinew.. making them chewy and stringy. Probably knenof the worst steaks I've ever had at a restaurant.

Went out for a birthday dinner with a friend. Birthday was not acknowledged even though I mentioned it in comments when booking through Open Table. We ordered a bottle of white wine ($39), 2 ceasar salads and I had the albacore tuna tataki ($13.95) and my friend had the lobster fettucine ($23.95). Total bill came to over $100. The server was pleasant, the service was mediocre and non-attentive. Our main meal (tuna tataki & the fettuccine) arrived before we were done our salads and had to send them back till we were ready. The tataki had 4-5 very slim pieces of tuna and the fettuccine was barely warm. Very disappointed. So-so service & lack luster food. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This was the slowest service I have ever experienced. The restaurant is very nice and the food is good. The staff were disorganized with food for some in the group being served by one person and others not receiving their food at all until we reminded them we were missing food. Very long waits between courses. We skipped desert as it took 3 hours to get appetizers and the main course. We were shocked. We had to keep telling staff about missing items. Last year it was great. We are not sure what has happened but the service was unacceptable.

This was our first visit to Chop and it was a ok experience. What we thought was a higher end restaurant turned out to be a busy and family oriented eatery. Food choices were varied and our selections were great. Presentation was also nice. The restaurant packs so many people in that the servers were often pushing against tables just to get by. Probably not a great choice if you are celebrating an anniversary and want a quieter setting. Great if you want to go with friends or a business crowd.

My first experience at Chop and certainly the last. We arrived with a reservation and didn't get our drinks for 35 minutes. I told our server to bring a friend's food first as she had a small baby with her and would likely have to leave early. They brought her food last! We arrived at 7:30 and didn't leave til 10:30 and it wasn't by choice. I complained to the manager and was given a $5 off coupon for next time. Trust me, there won't be a next time! Any other restaurant would have comp'd us for some part of our meal. For the price, next time I'll book at the Melting Pot and have an enjoyable evening with friends. We spent far too much time asking where our server was. The manager served us herself after I complained. Awful.

It was very cold in there when we first arrived but then that was fixed. We felt that our waiter rushed us out of the place. He was overbearing and at the end of the meal he asked if we were ready to pay. Most restaurants that we go to will bring the bill and then say 'take your time there is no need to rush' and sometimes we stay longer and have another glass of wine. The waiter brought the bill and machine, we paid and left. This would not be my first choice of restaurants to go to.

While there was nothing wrong with anything...... It lacked, everything was just ok. Steaks were a bit tough and fatty. We returned here for our 35 th anniversary. Last year when we visited for our anniversary, we we given a complimentary dessert and a card! What an impressive surprise that was! (The hostess was the one who asked us if we were celebrating anything)well same thing happened this year with the hostess, but our celebration was not acknowledged at all by the restaurant. Not to say they should have, but was kinda expecting something, like we received last year.(another table close to us received a card from the restaurant). So although the food was amazing, the service was not up to par. Our server did not even inform us of the daily specials which we didn't realize until the table next to us was offered the special. So we were a little disappointed
