I was in favor of trying someplace new, but he said that their menu appealed to him better than others visited on-line. I "caved" and suggested that we ALSO try their Happy Hour, as that would be a "new" experience for me. We had the BEST time! Our bar server (I think his name was Steve), was superb, i.e., engaging, informative, and dependable. The "house" scotch was JB and the "house" vodka was Smirnoff. Excellent for the price! We also had coconut shrimp as an appetizer which was very tasty and large. Next, we proceeded to the dining room for our lobster bisque, followed by a filet mignon with REAL crab, and then a sorbet. I could not have picked a better place to take her for just the two of us. Food was outstanding.
They had a watermelon salad that was grilled and chilled. Wow new and fresh take on a summer salad.

He is a world traveler and connoisseur of fine food. Having dined in the Coachella Valley with me previously without too much enthusiasm, he was totally impressed with his meal and the service as was I. I ordered the pork chop and he ordered the rib eye steak. Both were prepared exactly to our specifications and were absolutely perfect in every way.
Not only did we have an excellent experience, I was very happy that my friend enjoyed the dinner as much as I did. We chose the Chop House because it serves grass fed, no hormones, etc. The surprise was the exact steak was on special with salad, side, and desert. Lots of choices and all delicious. We had a great experience. The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender you could cut it with a fork. There was a price fixe menu and for 29 -49 dollars you could get an 3 course meal....salad, entree, side and dessert. Everything was fresh and tasted as good as it looked.
