"Celebrated my 25th birthday reserved a grill table for 20 ppl, 16 showed up and we were still seated. Server was very nice and attentive. BUT. what made our entire night was our chef! (don't remember his name young hispanic). He interacted, performed, asked how everything was & over all made the group expierence something to remember. The other chef for my other half of the party was quiet, didn't interact or anything."

"This food is great, but this place is a bit too loud if you just want to have a nice dinner with someone. I felt like I was in a dance club, and all the time I thought, "This is a bit too much energy for a sushi place."

I could barely hear the person I was having a conversation with. Don't bring a date here... but this is a great place to test out a break up. "I think we should take a break." If she starts crying you can just come up with something else, "I think we should order the steak! Why are you crying?"
"Sorry... I thought you were starting a breaking up. Why would you get steak at a sushi restaurant? That's stupid."

"This place is so much fun! It can be a bit lively and a bit loud but you can't sit in there without a smile on your face. We ate at a 'normal' table because we had never been before and wanted to see what it was all about, but next time we will definitely sit at one of the cooking stations!"

"the food was delicious. the service was good, but could have been better. found it bothersome that we had to wait over 30 minutes for our table even though we had scheduled a reservation with time. Chomp is a nice place, but i would not recommend it unless you hang out at a bar and are not looking to get a table."
