Diner Reviews
  • "Menu wasn't great. Whole table was going to order prime rib, but they were out. So we left. Ordered calamari appetizer and it was over done. Drinks were okay."

  • "Dismal food. The snapper I sent back was like rubber"

  • "Went with friends. Food was bland. Service was very slow, but friendly. Atmosphere was lacking. If you want really great fine dining on the island, go to Bayfront Bistro"

  • "Our dinner was delicious, prepared to perfection (wife/salmon, me/grouper). Wonderful flavors! The pepper jam served with the pre-dinner bread service was spectacular (and I'm not a jam/jelly person) with a perfect combination of heat with sweet. Service...that's where they stumbled a bit. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, but wait times between courses and getting the check was incredibly long (and it wasn't busy at all, we were one of two couples there). Overall though, the service wouldn't stop us from going back...the food was delicious!"

  • "This was our second visit not sure if my wife and I will go back First, there were only five tables with customers with two waiters and other employees walking around. Our server was weak almost never paying attention to our needs I had to ask to have the water refilled twice I ordered the Rib Eye which the waitress recommended but received a Prime Rib which turned out to look a lot better than the so called Rib Eye I received in less than five minutes as all of us should know you don't cook a Rib Eye that quickly it turned out that it was barely edible"

  • "We were in town for a family reunion. There were 10 of us ranging in age crom 20 to 76. Chloes had something for each of us to enjoy. We started with the dim sum n calamari. The dim sum was awesome. Hand made and tasty. Many tried it for the first time and were hooked. I have had alot of calamari but this chef has it perfect. All the pieces were cooked perfect and the marinara was homemade. If nothing else make sure you have the chef's secret pepper jelly. Wish he boted it up to go. Everyoneo ed their meal: mahi mahi. Blacken swordfish, flounder, snapper. Shrimp!! If you are in ft myers beach this restaurant is a must!! I'll b back for sure"

  • "We were surprised by how great the brunch buffet was on Mother's Day. The selection was everything you would expect to see at a fine dining brunch, and the food was fantastic. The price was very affordable given the vast amount of food offered. Service was also ourstanding, especially for a brunch buffet!"

  • "The food was very good, the table was ready when we arrived. The server, Tanya, was the best. This being our 1st visit we were very impressed with the overall experience and will certainly be back."

  • "Great food, excellent service, and a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. Had the Salmon Special and it was excellent. Waitress recommended to my wife the Prime Rib Dinner, since she likes beef. Prime Rib was huge, flavorful and cooked exactly the way my wife ordered it. Will come back to dine there."

  • "The food was absolutely fantastic. However, I was even more impressed with the service. Chloe's staff were all very attentive and friendly. I definitely had a memorable birthday and will return sometime. "

  • "Waitress was very nice. It was suppose to be a steak house but no filets. I ordered prime rib it was cold they re did ...I got it after my husband was done eating. selection was poor...rice or mashed with red garlic. expensive for what you got."

  • "This restaurant is inside a resort so I am not sure how much traffic comes from outside, we were resort guests. The atmosphere and food were very good. Dress code is neat/casual, but some were dressed more formally and no one stood out on either spectrum. Nice selection of wines, and you can take the bottle with you if you do not finish. Chef is Thai so there was some Asian flare to some selections which were quite enjoyable. It's a little quiet so if you like busy this isn't for you."

  • "We were looking for a place on the beach for dinner to take visiting friends. With many places not taking reservations, we turned to Open Table. Surprisingly we could have walked in, even at sunset, so either people want more casual or Chloes is a hidden gem. If you want to see sunset, ask for a table along windows in the dining room. We dined on the patio, which was great after being cooper up all winter, but you can't see sunset from there. The food was very good - fresh and well seasoned. The staff was friendly and helpful, even letting us taste a few sauces before ordering. Chloes fit the bill between too fancy and 'just another beach grill'."

  • "I took my husband here for what I was hoping to be a nice dinner for his birthday. Bread was delicious, entrees were good. The man serving water was very nice. Our service was not good and I think it is because we are young and didn't order alcohol ( I'm pregnant ). Often waitresses must assume you won't tip good or something if you are younger because our service was sub par. We were noticeably less catered to and she was much less friendly than she was to the couple on their 50s next to us. I felt very discriminated."

  • "We had a nice, quiet Valentine's Day dinner. Nice touch with the chocolate covered strawberry after the meal. Also nice having the grilled veggies and garlic/cheese mashed potatoes as sides."

  • "Not the romantic dining experience we had expected. A major disappointment. My wife couldn't eat the Grouper because of it's strong fishy smell and taste. The Surf and Turf I ordered came with a well done filet not medium rare as ordered and the lobster was dry and crusty. Because it was Valentine's Day we were told there could be no change in what sides were served. Garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mixed vegetables were our only option. Finally, our bill came and they tried to charge us for 3 entrees. After paying our $100 + bill, we drove a few blocks down the road to another restaurant and a wonderful dinner there."

  • "This restaurant is located within a hotel, on Fort Myers Beach. Our dinner reservation was at 8:30pm so we were unable to take in any views. There was a special menu, with 3 entree options, however you were also able to order off of the full menu. We opted to order off the menu. We both had market-priced fish: grouper & snapper. The grouper was flavorful and the sauteed veggies cooked well; the snapper was lacking flavor, other than the sauce that was added. The garlic mashed potatoes were too much for me, but he liked them very much. The service was friendly and attentive & although we did not order one of the 3 Valentine special entrees, she did bring us each a chocolate covered strawberry, when we declined ordering dessert."

  • "the 6 onion soup was just broth and without cheese..just chunks of bread. about a 25 cent food cost sold for $5.95 the on line pictures makes it look like french onion soup seafood pasta had an oily butter sauce but needed a cream sauce...not very tasty swordfish special was excellent servers were friendly the feel of the restaurant is lacking something. it is trying to be classy but comes off as a diner 6 out of 10 overall"

  • "Was disappointed overall with the restaurant. The food was moderately good. I was expecting more than what was there. There were four of us for dinner and none of us would return to the restaurant. The food was okay but nothing exceptional. Our waitress was a little over attentive to where it was bothersome that she asked so many times how everything was..."

  • "The reason for a fair rating on the food was because of the main dishes. Both Dishes were at market price so one must think it will be a little costly but worth it. I was wrong the Grouper was not fresh and was masked by the citrus sauce. The rib eye which I ordered med/well was cooked correctly, but was so thin by the time it hit the table it was slightly warm. I have been to many, many steak houses, that i would return too because the quality of the steak and seafood was excellent, Chloes will not be one of them.Your"

  • "The restaurant would have done themselves a favor by having the restaurant at least looking out on the beach. While being near the beach I will go to any restaurant that at least is situated on the beachn unlike this restaurant."

  • ""I love the relaxed feel of this place - like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely will continue to return to try more dishes. The Six Onion soup was amazing, Prime Rib was cooked to perfection, Blackened Grouper was seconed to none, and the Red Snapper and Mahi Mahi were sensational. The salads were refreshing. The table agreed that everything was great. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."My guest all stated, "GREAT CHOICE!""

  • "For romance-eat inside. For a great view and nice patio-eat outside. The food is absolutely awesome. The service was superb. I had the duck. Can't say enough good things about it. Mom had the prime rib. Cooked just to her liking. My husband had the stuffed flounder. He usually eats one fourth of his meal. He ate every bite. I am definitely going back."

  • "First I very much do not like writing bad reviews. Service was great. The pictures led us to believe it was fine dining. The patio was like someone's back yard. The food was not good. The Mahi Mahi was way over done. (you could pick up the entire piece with a fork) The rice was either old or reheated. For the cost it was definately not worth it. The prime rib was sold out. The manager tried to make up for it by providing the rib eye and take one of the Mahi's off the tab. The problem is we were out for a special occasion with visitors from out of state also had a babysitter (which are expensive and hard to come by). We just expected so much more."

  • "First, it was freezing in the restaurant. The server quickly lowered the a/c, so that was good. The wine list was not impressive. We ordered onion soup, which was 6 onion, not to be confused with french onion, which we did. It was luke warm, full of crutons. Dinners were just so so. My shrimp were delicious, the rice thick and lumpy. The vegetables boring medley. The prime rib was cooked properly. No baked or mashed potatoes available. Cheesecake was so so reminded me of just out of the box from a grocery store. We left it. Coffee was good. Service was great, but incredibly slow. Would not go back. The view is nice of the Gulf."
