ChloéService was friendly and quiteService was friendly and quite excellent at this French restaurant. The menu offered items individually as well as three course dinners so there was a lot to choose from and the price was quite moderate. The snapper was very tasty and cooked just right to retain its moisture. The dessert, creme bulee, was delicious. The only drawback was that the restaurant fronts a busy street and the door was kept open so it was a little noisy. We certainly plan to go back again.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat...but French?Dines at Chloe for the third or fourth time, and it was great again...food was tasty, service by Jean Baptiste was timely and cheerful. But the menu this time did not have a lot of French food which was strange. Aside from the escargots and the Poulet Fricasee special the rest of the menu was pretty unremarkable...but still delicious.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways enjoy this placeEven if they happen to run out of the "not on the menu" dessert. Great food, great people.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this restaurantFood is always terrific. Service is friendly and efficient.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our favoritesBistro worthy of visiting. Trout with french beans had great flavors and cooked to perfection. Pork chop awesome. Prices are very reasonable, staff attentive, a real neighborhood gem. Parking in back of restaurant a plus.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMReally like this place. NowReally like this place. Best tenant since Union Bay Cafe.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a very pleasant diningWe had a very pleasant dining experience at Chloe and would definitely go back.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant experience - goodPleasant experience - good food and great service.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious alternative to UVillage..This was my second visit to Chloe. While I live in Ballard, many of my friends live around the University District. U Village has restaurants, but all - with the exception of perhaps Piatti ($$$$) - serve marginal food. Chloe's food is delicious! Truly French food, right proportioned, beautifully presented, moderately priced. The wine list is small, but of good quality.
It's nice to dine on a white table linens, on a table that's beautifully yet simply set. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy good conversation, too, without having to yell! GO HERE as an alternative to the Village! Easy parking on the street, and much better food!
I plan on making Chloe my 'go-to' place while in U Village or it's surrounds, visiting friends!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
