Chino LatinoChino's is Amazing!I have been twice now to Chino Latinos and both times were fantastic. The food is amazing and everything I have tried was delicious. The drink menu is also solid with many choices! The atmosphere is so fun and lively. It can get a bit noisy but at a popular restaurant that is bound to happen. After that, enjoy. It would take ten trips to take it all in. Spicy hot truly means hot and the food is beautifully presented. Our server "messenger" was fully engaging and fun and knowledgable. I'd suggest the valet parking which would have been cheaper than the nearby public parking. The food was delicious, our waitress was wonderful and the environment was very fun! We ordered one large dish, medium dish, appetizer and sushi, which filled the four of us up and gave us some leftovers. The menus were printed with a birthday message and our daughter light up when she read it. We had specialty martinis, which were very good, and hers came with a lit sparkler. Our waitress was very friendly. We started with the mussels, which were very good. We used a warm flatbread for dipping in the yummy sauce. We split the paella which was plenty for 3 and loaded with mussels, chicken and calamari. The atmosphere was very lively and a bit loud which we enjoyed. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality at this long standing hot spot. Service was memorable as well. We'll be back!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst visitThe food was amazing. We had fish tacos - awesome. The curried shrimp with saffron rice was out of this world. The queso dip which was the best I ever had. Drinks were okay I had the blue Hawaiian - presentation - spectacular the flavor just okay. My husband had his typical Long Island which he said was okay but nothing special. the liqueur wasn't outstanding. The food more than made up for it. The place is loud. But it wasn't obnoxious just very energized. Our waiter very attentive as first timers he made good suggestions. We ended the night with an amazing cake flan combination. Pretty loud but we were downstairs in a booth and it was better. Highly recommended especially if you like hot and spicy dishes. He recommended certain items and also let us know when we were ordered too much, which is a rarity when most servers just want higher checks, (higher tips). "Smaller" plates are very generous in size. My passionfruit mojito which was wonderful, but specialty drinks are New York prices!
Were not wowed by the desserts at all. "Flandango" was a dried out chocolate cake topped with a VERY firm flan... and we also shared a fried ice cream. THe ice cream scoop was so big that the fried exterior didn't do it justice. Just too big, and not all that interesting. Tried some new drinks and new dinner items and they were great. Our server was beautiful and professional which don't always go hand in hand in the hospitality industry! Go here.My boyfriend and I were there for the Dining out for Life event. The hostess greeted us and we quickly found our table. The drinks were very nice and the atmosphere for the dinner was festive. The food was ordered and accurate. They brought it out in courses. The main entree, Kung Pao Chicken, came first and was really well done. The second was chicken tacos and were the best of the lot. The last was sausage bread, done in a Cuban style spice. It was really good.

I recently brought my sister and her boyfriend, who had never been to Chino Latino, in for dinner and we had a fabulous experience. I attempt to order new things each time I come, and I have never been disappointed. The food was exceptional, and the waitress did a wonderful job of explaining how Chino Latino work's a bit differently than other restaurants, specifically the portion sizes as well as timing of food coming out to the table.
