We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and made an excellent martini. She even gave us extra olives without us even asking. Our meal was very good and because we were there during happy hour we got an excellent value. Another employee, Douglas, was also very friendly and generous. The tasting menu here is unbelievably reasonable ($54) for 3 salads, 2 apps, 3 entress an amuse and 3 desserts. And the portions were really large and the service was quick and kept the dinner rolling without being obtrusive.

The service was excellent, there was just the right amount of attention paid throughout the night. Every dish we ordered was delicious! We are from Michigan, visiting N.Y. for our honeymoon and we could not have picked a beter spot for a night out. Love the Duck served 2 ways with the Chocolate Orange Sauce and very delicate moo sho pancakes. However I feel like lately is not as good as it used to be (maybe because new management?). On my last visit food was a little below average (the dessert was great though-chocolate cake). We took our daughter there for her 21st birthday. The waiter was outstanding as he catered to our every needs and paid close attention to this special occasion.
