I made reservations for Mother's Day and did not have to wait long. Our waiter's name was Chris who made our visit so enjoyable. He was funny and personable. The food was excellect the atmosphere was ellegant. I took my there for dinner and she was so pleased with our meal and service. She requested to return again soon! Even though it was very crowded on Mothers Day, our table was ready immediately at our reservation time and service was terrific. It's very noisy in here when crowded so if you are looking for a quiet dinner on a busy day this might not be the place. The food is great and they have a very nice wine list. This is the first time we brought our teen/tween kids here and we had an early dining time. I would not recommend this as a place to bring young children, although there were a several there. Seated on time, nice seats, great service. Eat from the salad bar as wandering skewer bearers approach your table every few minutes to ask if you'd like a slice of rib-eye or sirloin steak etc. 16 choices: two fish, one lamb, two chicken, the rest beef -- every one really good. Even the doneness you prefer. The sirloin went around more often than the filet, but it was all presented within 20-30 minutes. Salad bar 40-50 items, salads and vegetables, though no fruit. Servers bring little dishes to your table -- rolls, croquettes, mashed potatoes and more. Desserts are available but we were too full. Delicious sangria was only $6.

The service was impeccable and the quality and taste of the meats was far superior. The meats were not overly seasoned so you could taste the difference and distinction of each meat. The barbeque spareribs were better than any rib place we've been to. The two fish offerings added a nice option and both were delicious.

We really enjoyed our visit on all levels. The salad bar had some wonderful items, and it wasn't so big that it was overwhelming. There was a great cocktail selection and a nice wine list. The service was very attentive. Great selection of meats, and even some fish. My husband loved that there was a variety of done-ness options, he was able to get his meat well done right off the skewer rather than having to order it. Make sure to pay attention to that: If you are not eating the meat, let the server know immediately or they will charge you the full $50! It's only $25 for salad bar, and $29 for seafood + salad bar! He said that whenever he visits Philadelphia, he always goes to Chima and recommended it. It was fabulous! The meat is superbly cooked and as long as your token beckons the meat carvers to come, come to your table they do! They also have an amazing salad bar and wonderful sides (my favorite were the fried bananas - I probably had four of them).
When, not if, you go... make sure you go hungry; I guarantee you'll leave anything but.

As soon as we were done our first course, the fantastic salad bar, the servers were right there in full force bringing the meat presentations. The food was outstanding and my family really enjoyed the Brazilian dining experience. The noise level was fairly high for a Saturday night which you might expect. It was a little hard to hear the gaucho telling us what type of cut of meat he was serving. You get used to it though and after they visit your table a few times you adjust. You cannot leave there saying you didn't get enough of what you came for. We were there for my son's birthday. They have wondering Hosts that will help direct specific cuts and temperatures upon request. My only complaints were the overall place was noisy and difficult to talk to your dinner guests and that the "special requests" failed to show up in a timely fashion.
