Special Events & Promotions: Chifa welcomes groups of all sizes. With some of the most unique and rich decor in Philadelphia, Chifa is perfect for intimate dinners with friends, special occasions and holidays, corporate meetings and staff parties! Events can be booked throughout the restaurant and in our private dining room seven days a week. Our private dining room will accommodate up to 40 guests. As well, Chifa's private lounge with full bar offers the perfect space for cocktail parties or pre-dinner mingling. Combined, the two spaces can host up to 75. The entire restaurant can be reserved exclusively for approximately 200 people. Please note, a fixed price menu is required for groups of 12 or more.

"Tapa style food with ingenious flavor blends. Our waiter suggested 3 tapas per person, we went with 2 and were satisfied but, wishing we had ordered more because we REALLY enjoyed our dining. Special favorites were the lobster bowl and charred octopus, the pork belly was wonderful too."

"Friends raved about the flavorful foods and interesting blend of Peruvian/Asian cultures. Several items were indeed excellent: Duck Tacos, pork bao buns for example, but others were, well, ordinary at best. Service was outstanding and sitting near the front, the noise was not as "energetic/loud" as previous reviews we had read. Would consider going again only to try other entrees in order to see if we just made some less than outstanding selections"

"Food was quite good overall although dish by dish it ranged from ok to excellent. Pleasant surprise of the night: beer menu is features unique local and imported beers. Service was helpful but a bit slow if you are in a hurry. I would go back again."

"My wife met me after work for an early dinner at Chifa. We found the blend of Chinese and South American cuisine a wonderful experience. We each ordered the 55 dollar chef's tasting menu, in which we were surprised with small places that jumped out with flavors and textures. The chef was accomodating in that my wife is not a fan of spicy food, but we found everything to be within her range. One amusing moment was when they brought out the bowl of mussels in coconut milk. Neither of us thought we were fans of mussels until we tried these and thoroughly enjoyed the texture and taste. The waiter helped walk us through the various items as they were brought out, since the cuisine is not familiar in some respects. Everything was perfect!"
