It is nice to know there is such a nice place in a neighborhood environment. You can always count on good food, service, atmosphere an overall fine dining.
Elaine Cook6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Visit- 6/10/13My wife and I celebrated our 52nd. anniversary with our old time neighbors in Marietta at Chicago's. It was our first visit, although our friends knew it well. We moved away from Marietta in 1992, but we had never been to Chicago's. Not only was the decor beautiful and tasteful, the food and the service was superb. I am just sorry we had not tried it when we lived closer. However, it is worth an hour drive for us to return, which we definitely will do.

Special of the night was catfish and we realized later that we never got the hush puppies that were supposed to come with it; however the fish itself was tasty. Server (Julie?) was excellent - very attentive, but not overbearing.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMChicago's is Top NotchI love visiting Chicago's when I go to my parent's house in the 'burbs. The food is always fantastic. We've never had a bad experience. Our steaks are always cooked perfectly the first time. I usually don't like blackened but our server recommended the prime rib blackened and he was SO right. Amazing. We also told him we like our creme brule a little warm. He fired the creme brule himself and it was absolutely perfect.
Wine is reasonably priced. Beer is cold. Servers are knowledgeable and very nice. We really couldn't ask for anything better. They even have an early bird dinner menu for people who like to eat early and save a little money. Made a reservation for Mother's Day lunch. Kids enjoyed the brunch menu, I loved the fish and chips. Great service. We'll be back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMQuiet in the bar earlyWe were 35 mins early and were told that we would have to wait until around 5:45 PM to get seated since all they didn't have any available seats earlier than that.We decided to eat at the bar and what a surprise.The "bar" was a separate room with booths.It was much quieter than the main dining area which was packed.Our waitress was the bartender.She did a marvelous job keeping our drinks filled an ensuring that we were happy.The food came out nicely and we enjoyed ribs, fish and chips (which are actually French fries) and shrimp and scallops.The fish was as good as what we used to get in London; the ribs were good but not great, and the seafood was delicious.

We are always happy with the food, the service, and the feel of the place. My wife loves the seafood dishes and I get chicken or beef -- always good.
We usually go with another couple and the booths are roomy enough to be comfortable for 4, yet quiet enough so we can all talk easily and enjoy the conversation.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMHappy Birthday To MeMy husband and I celebrated my birthday at Chicago's this past Saturday evening and not only was the service excellent, the food was excellent, as well. My prime rib was cooked to perfection and my husband's pistachio-encrusted trout was delicious. The veggies could have been steamed a few seconds longer, but they were still tasty. I might add that Gnarly Head Zinfandel is an excellent wine to try. After dinner, we went into the lounge for some entertainment and we were not disappointed. She had been there before, but this was my first time there. The food and service were absolutely excellent. My wife had the shrimp scampi appetizer and the filet mignon. Both were perfect, according to her. I started with the calamari appetizer, which was as good as I've ever had. And it was large enough for 3 people. I was trying to decide between the ribeye steak and prime rib. The waiter said his favorite is the prime rib, and he said they could also prepare it blackened. I chose that, and it absolutely melted in my mouth. I have never eaten any prime rib that was better. Our server, Seth, was friendly, helpful, attentive, and professional.
