  • "What a hidden gem. As I local, I am always looking for great local food. Chicago Joe's ranks near the very top of all hidden gems in the city. Don't be fooled by the size - the food is OUTSTANDING. I will be visiting often"

  • "My husband and I tried Chicago Joe's on a whim. I've lived in Las Vegas for over twenty years and had never heard of it. I am truly sad that we only found it now because the food was to die for, the service was excellent and the tomato sauce is the best I've ever had. The resturant is small since it is in a converted house so I would recommend a reservation. I will definitely be returning to eat at Chicago Joe's."

  • "I love this Restaurant more, every time I go there. From it's small but intimate feel, to the freshness of each dish... it's one of Las Vegas' best kept Secrets. My friend from Idaho told me she loved it and looked forward to returning on another visit. Thanks again for a wonderful evening."

  • "My wife and myself decided to eat dinner with one of our daughters and her date before going on to First Friday in the Arts District of Las Vegas. Chicago Joe's is an old established restaurant in the area so we said GO!! We have not been there for years but had fond memories of it in the past. We were disappointed. The pastas were all overcooked and mushy having been drowned in mediocre sauces. One saving grace was that the seafood portions did seem fresh and they were tasty. Surprisingly poor service and the place was close to empty. I guess we know now why we don't go there anymore - funny how you typically only remember the good..."

  • "the food is always wonderful, the service always super...there are specials and our server said they could make up anything we wanted that wasn't specifically on the menu. we enjoyed a leisurely lunch and didn't feel pressured to move on...great place..."

  • "This was our first time here . Everything was great . The waiter , the atmosphere , the prompt service . Just had 1 complaint ... the clams were not cleaned, they left a gritty taste in our mouth ... Again we be will back and would still recommend this restaurant to our friends . "

  • "Chicago Joe's is an absolute gem! The food is wonderful Traditional Italian. The portions are large, the service is excellent and the taste of the food is delicious. Highly recommend the Pasta Fagioli soup and even more so the Chicken Parmesan. I've been coming to Chicago Joe's for over 20 years whenever I'm in Las Vegas, and it's worth the stop every time!"

  • "I went with two other ccsd teachers. The atmosphere was quaint. The room was quiet so we could talk. The food was actually really good. Ihad mussels diablo, and the other ladies had linguine. The garlic bread was great. EVERYTHING was really good. I would go back, in fact my firend and iI have an 8 year anniversary coming up and I am going to suggest this place to him. It might become our NEW romantic restaurant. Parking was easy, we just went behind the building. Also, it was first friday and it didnt make traveling or parking at the restaurant difficult at all."

  • "The cozy little cottage that houses Chicago Joe's gave me hopes that I was about to enjoy a quality meal at a family-run Italian red sauce joint. While the fun, kitschy vibe inside is great, and the servers are decent (though a bit inattentive), the food is just meh. I couldn't help feeling I could have made a better meal myself by boiling some spaghetti and heating Prego meat sauce to pour over it at home."

  • "If you are tired of the hype and promotion of hotel restaurants in Las Vegas, give this cozy restaurant a try. True Italian cuisine, done well. Brought a friend who lives in the area and she was impressed also, and will pass the name along to her friends. Take the time to go outside the box and visit this one."

  • "From the outside it may appear questionable as to whether you actually want to eat here. The restaurant is in an older, quite weathered house. When we walked in the front door you end up walking right into the dining room. The host walks from the back to welcome and seat you. Awkward. However, once seated and you take in the room you'll realize what a special place you're in. The server was nice and pleasant, although he did deliver me the wrong sauce on my linguine...it didn't matter. The food is FABULOUS! My husband had the lasagna and that was even better. We also indulged in an appetizer, wine and dessert. Everything was fantastic and to top it off quite affordable. We will absolutely be going back and would recommend it to everyone."

  • "Great food! Mushroom caps with Escargot, Veal Picatta, Salmon Piccata Special, Cheese Ravioli AND Tiramisu...All excellent. The night was made by our waiter Billy...impeccable service, answered all the questions we had, made us laugh and is the guarantee we will be back at Chicago Joe's the next time we are in Vegas. Loved the old italian atmosohere...checkered tableclothes, small little wine glasses and a feel for the past. We all loved it!"

  • "I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. I had the lasagne and it was excellent! Bread was delicious, the garlic dressing on the salad was the best. I did feel the salad needed a bit more toppings though. Service was really good. I've been here for both dinner and lunch. I liked the lunch better only because my dinner party was 6 people. Too many to feel comfortable in such close quarters..."

  • "From the moment you walk up, the charm of the old house from 1940's is very inviting. As you approach the front door from 4th Street, you feel like you're walking into your friend's house for a family meal. The building is quaint and nostalgic, nicely nestled within buildings that are more modern, you feel like your stepping back in time. Great food!"

  • "We have enjoyed going to Chicago Joe's for many years and we are glad they have maintained the excellent level of service and great food. We have taken many people there for business lunches and after work dinners and have never had a bad experience. We understand that some of the items on the menu are secret recipes, like the rosemary potatoes, and rumor has it that there are recipes locked in the safe! We absolutely love it and hope you are there forever."

  • "Extremely small, maybe 10 tables. Glad we made reservations. Food excellent. Very intimate atmosphere, but LOUD. Too busy, felt very, very rushed. People waiting with no waiting area; they hovered and huddled right over your table. Very uncomfortable. It was a Friday evening and we arrived prior to our reservation time and lucky for us we were seated immediately but we were in and out in maybe 30 to 45 minutes - too rushed."

  • "We wanted a low-key dinner our first night in Vegas and this hit the spot. Tiny restaurant off the beaten track (but just two blocks from a Deuce stop), with old-fashioned Italian atmosphere. Our waiter was great, food was excellent--we did the specials!--and his pacing was excellent. We weren't rushed, which was perfect after a day of traveling."

  • "Chicago Joe's takes the diner back in time to the Vegas of old. A small dining room with checkered table clothes decorated in a vintage style some where in the 70's takes you back to the Las Vegas before big corporations. You can imagine power brokers of all walks of life meeting at the same table at which you sit. The food was authentic Italian. The service was great. I can highly recommend Chicago Joe's as a lunch spot downtown after visiting the Neon a Boneyard or The Mob museum to complete a thematic day."
