Chicago Cut SteakhouseBrunchI made brunch reservations for a party of 4, requesting outside seating and mentioning that the guest of honor for the meal was celebrating her birthday and wanted to eat at a place where she could sit outdoors. Your staff accommodated us, and we had a wonderful meal and long visit. We all raved about the food we'd ordered and the restaurant brought us two outstanding desserts to honor the birthday guest. Very elegant spot with elegant staff who know how to make diners feel good. I'll definitely return, although it would probably have to be a special occasion because I can't afford to eat at such upscale restaurants on a regular basis. Yeah ... cause once we reached Chicago Cut Steakhouse, it was ALL uphill!!
We had a great dinner, couple of drinks in the bar, met the owner ... we'd recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food and service is beyond expectations. If you are looking for the best cut of steak, this is the place. The wait staff, waiter and manager are very involved in their guest's complete satisfaction. I would recommend this place to anyone who expects the best. We were on time for our reservation, when we arrived the hostess promptly seated us within one minute. I look forward to my return!

That wasn't a problem. Didn't have to face the crowds and had a very casual dinner with great staff support.
Steak was a little undercooked and had to go back (fast turn-around time). Food was delicious, but asparagus dish had way too many aspragi for one person.
Ate inside and overlooked outside patio; enjoyed the people watching.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Service at a Trendy SpotWith all of the steakhouses popping up in Chicago and everyone vying for a cut of the meat, Chicago Cut Steakhouse was a pleasant surprise from all the pretention that lies in River North. The service was excellent and food was cooked to perfection. The drink menu is presented on an iPad which was a nice touch. Since I'm interested in technology and how it's used to market a product I thought this was a great way to save paper along with bringing interactivity to the table.

Food was fantastic, service attentive but not intrusive and pricing expected for Chicago. The only drawback was being a visitor to the city I was not aware how often the train would come through to drown any conversation. What the restaurant controlled was perfect but would suggest they consider asking patrons if the train sounds would be disruptive to them. We requested a table by the window.and were graciously accomodated. The view was spectacular and the room warm and bustling, but not too loud. The service was good, the food excellent. I liked the fact tha tthe dinner menu had options at different price points (although we all ordered steaks!!) as did the wine list. The files, the skirt steak and the delmonico were perfectly cooked and presented. The scalloped potatoes and lobster mac and cheese were great. Let me say the service by the staff was impeccable. They were very attentive and so courteous.
But where they really shined was the great steaks and food. The flavor was awesome, the cooking and grilling was perfect.
They have outdoor seating and I would recommend trying for that if possible.
So I would go back once I visit Chicago again.
