  • "Mike was an amazing waiter. The food was outstanding. Would highly recommend."

  • "Our server was Erica, I found that she was very tentative to details, questioning every meal serve to us, was very happy, you can tell that she knows what she was doing, and the food was exceptional. My wife said she wants to come back and try everything on the menu."

  • "REally enjoyed our evening. The prime rib was perfect and the veal dishes were delicious. Great prices for good choices."

  • "The food was absolutely fabulous and the prices were great. Drinks were strong. Service was great, did not feel rushed at all to turn over table."

  • "We were meeting friends from Vermont and I recommended Chianti's. most of us ordered pasta or seafood. You could tell that the pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. The seafood was also excellent and the tiramisu was the best!! Looking forward to going back soon. The only thing that was disappointing was we sat at the bar waiting for our reservation and it took awhile for someone to offer us a drink. We had to ask them for a drink. Other than that it was a great night."

  • "Love their 3 for 1 special! Had the homemade gnocchi and it was delicious. The sauce was very good! The salad was just okay - uninspiring and a little too cold. The dessert was cute and delicious!"

  • "I have never enjoyed a meal as much as the scallop dish. It was amazing."

  • "I have been dining in this family owned restaurant for 30 years, in all of its various locations. Vinny Sr. recently retired and turned the operation over to his Son TJ. He has done a masterful job upgrading and renovating the whole restaurant, including the menu and added a wonderful patio for outside dining, which we all enjoyed. We were a group of 7 and sampled calamari, sweet potato sticks and a grilled, thin crust pizza...All were terrific. Our server, Kylie, explained in detail all of the various specials both starters and entrees and choosing is never easy. I had the house pork chops, ( 3 chops) Outstanding! Fair prices, good food and service, try and find all three these days. Try it, you'll like it!"

  • "We loved the menu, there was somethign for everyone..from the Hungry Man, to the Italian officianado to kids. The Atmosphere was great as well. We have been here in the past and it used to be very quite, dark and appeared to be for an older crowd. Since the reopening the crowd is more lively, the dining room was packed and you could just feel the upbeatness of the room. I wasn't nervous bringing my son with us this time."

  • "The food was excellent. The service was slower than usual but the place was packed. The manager asked us how everything was at the end of our meal and we did mention the slow arrival of our food. He was very apologetic and offered us an after dinner drink. We declined. This would not effect my return to this restaurant or recommend it to others."

  • "We were very pleased with the MENU!!! Loved the service and the facility was very inviting..... It was a bit loud at first but the large group left and was much better! WE will definitly return! "

  • "I felt that our server had difficulty handling a big party (10). He could have been a little more attentive to our needs, otherwise the food was very good. I do enjoy coming to your restaurant and the atmosphere is wonderful."

  • "might go there again ? but not on a busy holiday like mothers day. they where out of everything! but they where very busy. food was very average. But I thought the wait staff really did their best to keep up."

  • "Had a very nice experience at Chianti's in East Greenwich. The Salmon was outstanding and the pasta portions were very good. My daughter said the fried mozzarella was the best she ever had. Was disappointed with the veal special which was the most expensive dinner and the least portion. Overall, we will definitely go again!"

  • "Great food and good portions. Good menu selections and gluten free options. Problem is that it took way too long to get the main course to the table. The experience should have been much better."

  • "My wife and I have dined here before and have always been happy. This night, something went wrong. This time we were eating at the bar, and our food orders were taking forever. We didn't complain to anybody, but then who we believed to be the owner, came over to us and apologized for the wait and assured us he had personally handled the situation. He came over again shortly after and offered us a free drink or a free desert. We took the free drink. In the end, the food was worth the wait. It was excellent."

  • "Went with a small group of people and enjoyed every minute. Online reservations, reminders, great service and good food all made for a fun evening before the theater."

  • "We totally loved the experience of dining this past Thursday evening in Chianti. I had the salmon which was the best I have ever had. I had a double portion of the vegetable instead of potato or pasta and it was a delightful zucchini side dish--so flavorful. The waiter Mike was awesome and suggested a delightful wine for me. It was a classy lovely place with interesting art on the walls and lovely jazz music (not live)."

  • "Ordered a side of rigs to go with my 'king cut' roast beef, asked for 'al dente', order arrived and I was disappointed. Mentioned to Michelle when she asked if everything was fine with our dinners, in less than two minutes, TJ (owner, GM) was over with a fresh plate of pasta and this time they were perfectly done! Meant a lot to me."

  • "Good value. We thought the dinners were excellent but the appetizers were average. I would like to try other menu items and may have just chosen items that weren't their specialty. It was very loud so difficult to carry on a conversation, especially if the group is larger than 4 people. It was also a Saturday night, so I would expect it to be bus and loud. We really enjoyed it and will definitely go back. Overall, the experience was very good."

  • "The meal was excellent from the clams casino to the veal dish with pasta. Nice local restaurant for Italian food. Donna our server has been there for years and her service even non a busy Saturday night is excellent."

  • "Our original venue choice was booked solid so we had to come up with Plan B. "Chianti" was close by, website menu was appealing ,reservation via Opentable was easy. This was our first use of Opentable and our first visit to this venue. Food was surprising good, two amazing fish presentations, a very well prepared pork chops with apple & sweet potato stuffing and a most generous prime rib dinner. Three of the dinners were the evening specials, very well prepared and presented. Restaurant was very busy and the service was good, given the volume of customers. Nice wine list and the Tiramisu dessert, light and not too sweet, was the perfect cherry on the cake of our great night out. Will be back again. Excellent experience!"

  • "Waitress was excellent but the time it took for the food to come out of the kitchen was what brought the rating down a bit. it took almost an hour for or meals to arrive at the table. The kitchen seemed to have a hard time keeping up with anything other than appetizers."

  • "Love the menu. The veal dishes are what we always order and they all are outstanding! I love this place. The ambiance is perfect, very comfortable and not at all snobby. They don't crowd the tables too close together, like some other pricey Italian places, so it's just right. The portions are large, so I know I can take home my lunch for tomorrow. Great wine list. Waitress are super attentive, very good, friendly and always on top of things."

  • "With so many restaurants on Main St in East Greenwich, we did not expect to find one of this quality on Ives Road, about a mile or less from the hustle and bustle of town. Food was outstanding - Italian food any Atwells Ave restaurant in Providence would be proud to serve."

  • "We called restaurant to change reservation from 5:30 to 5:00 and was told they would let the hostess know. We arrived at 4:50 and one of the guests was told that our reservations were not until 8:00. Our waiter was not pleasant at all, service was extremely slow. We had appetizers that were cold or room temp. One of the drink orders was wrong at which point we could overhear the waiter not speaking kindly about our table. Appetizers and meal were ordered by 5:45. Apps delivered, were room temp or cold and main meal was not given to us until almost 7:00. Food and service were just horrible. I've eaten here a few times, always had great food. I would be curious how other diners felt about the restaurant on this evening."

  • "The food was fantastic for the money. Our entire family had a second meal with the left overs! Our waitress, Diane, was super friendly, and efficient. Our appetizer of Calamri was tender and spicy. Everyone loved it! We enjoyed the great and warm olive oil for dipping. Great new resturant for us. Definitely an older crowd, but my teenagers loved the place. Great value for the money and not pretentious."

  • "We were in town for wedding and decided to try this place (one of many Italian eats in town). The wait staff was very helpful in setting us up for 9 persons; we wanted to eat outside and they did a great job in moving tables and umbrellas, The food and drinks were not stellar, but right for the price. Everyone liked their entrees and there was enough food for most to bring leftovers back to the hotel for lunch the next day. We were a bit disappointed that one of the specials was sold out early (we arrived at 7:00PM), but otherwise, it was a pleasant experience and a place we could visit again."
