The selection was wonderful--everything from made-to-order omelettes to a wide selection of fruits and salads to delicious prime rib to several pasta items. And the dessert choices were great also!! We sat in the bar area, and the atmosphere was very classy and charming. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the price was pretty reasonable for such a place. Better than some of the more expensive meals. It was annoying that you were forced to eat at the buffet line and you were not allowed to order from the menu until 2pm. For a little more peace and quiet I recommend sitting at a booth rather than the tables, the noise fills the air a little louder around the chairs. Found this place randomly using OpenTable, yet another good find. The first night he had the Capellini ai Gamberetti (capellini w/ shrimp) and i had the Hunters pasta, a nice penne dish with grilled chicken, sausage and white beans. The second night we each had steak, mine was the sirloin balsamico with a portabello and balsamic cream sauce and he had the butcher's secret sirloin. Both were a little undercooked for medium but good pieces of meat. Good food, good wine, and dessert was decent too. Wine, dinner, dessert and a tip and out the door for about $40 or so. Good value and good food. Seating preference was accommodated and the environment was casual, yet pleasant. Never too noisy, and the modern decor with high ceilings provide a nice atmosphere. The bar area does have TV's if you're looking to catch a glimpse of the game while dining, but isn't intrusive. The two pasta entrees we had were delicious and their descriptions accurate. Cocktails were well made and the salad fresh. Creme brulee' dessert exceeded our expectations. Portions were ample but skimpy on the meat (moustaccioli and chicken) and cheese ingredients, and just not that tasty. I've had better, with similar dishes, at lunch time. Food selection is good. I had a baked walleye with vegetable medley, hubby had a spicy penne pasta, one guest had trout special and another had chicken Marsala (ordered beef which was the special but they were out) . Wine selection good. I like the decor and warm cozy atmosphere. Our server was very busy but attentive without being bothersome. Deserts were great too, one guest especially appreciated the flour less chocolate cake, being on gluten free diet.
