About half of the restaurant has outdoor seating. It is a very nice place for special occasions.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden GemFrom the moment we were greeted by the wife of Pierre and told he would come to the table to discuss what he could prepare for me we know it would be a lovely evening. He did just that as well a provide my own pate and celery so I too could partake of this silken delight! Seafood was perfectly cooked. Wine provided a wonderful paring. Very personal feeling as the waitstaff arrives with the board to go over the special for the evening. Vegetables could have been less done but minor!
Look to the left as you face Trader Joes, restaurant is set back and slightly hidden, worth finding!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMChef Pierre is large and inChef Pierre is large and in charge of this charming bistro. Food was good and we enjoyed the ambience.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful find. Been twiceWonderful find. Been twice in 5 days. My wife had a fit over the Orange Roughy. I had the roasted Duck and it was fantastic. Chef comes out and speaks to everyone. Don't be put off that it is in a shopping center close to Trader Joes. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Also try the steak with peppercorn sauce.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific! We eat here frequently, and we have never been disappointed with any dish or with the service. The food is always fresh and delicious and comes to the table hot and perfectly prepared. Love this place!2/17/2013 12:00:00 AMI hosted two relatives whoI hosted two relatives who had never been here and another who was making a return visit. From the outset, Pierre was warm and funny, the house wine was fine, the pate perfect for a cold evening, and the ambience great for laughter and talk. The appetizers were just right, whether smelts fried without grease, mushroom-barley soup with flavor depth, onion soup with cheese stringing, or the loaded endive salad. The lamb shank, veal stew, salmon, and veal picatta were all enthusiastically devoured, while the beignets, tart tatin, strawberries, and mousse were enjoyed and shared. One cousin asked how I found such a remarkable place.1/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been going to ChezWe have been going to Chez Pierre for a few years and we are liking it more and more. This place is tucked into the corner of a shopping center and can't be seen from the road, but it is worth the hunt. The restaurant is small, with mostly outside seating, so the ambiance is nothing special. The food is classic French bistro faire that is well prepared. Try the Steak AU Poivre and the sand dabs....they are always good. For dessert, try the beignets....they are heavenly. The service is friendly and efficient. The wine list is a bit disappointing, but I suppose Pierre is short on storage space and can only stock a few good choices. Prices are a little high for this type of location.1/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
