Chez MelangeOutstanding!This is one of our favorite restaurants. I love the owner and the waiters. They are so nice. The food never ceases to amaze us...we always leave happy with our experience. Not only have I been there for Mother's day brunch...which was fantastic!, we've been there for dinners and New Year's Eve dinner (2x) ==== all FANTASTIC!!! Food is just superb. I took my hubby there for his birthday and had a nice quiet lovely dinner (the back part of the restaurant). The wait staff was extremely attentive, engaging, and informative. And, the food was delicious with tender pork and chicken, perfectly done! It was nice that they had a little card saying 'happy birthday' and the staff throughout was acknowledging his birthday as well. The server was always nearby & very friendly & polite. The food was very fresh & piping hot from the kitchen. My friends had salads & I had mushroom penne pasta which even smelled wonderful! We weren't ever rushed out, and he later brought my friend hazelnut gelato because he overheard her talking about her wedding dress day! Wait staff were all very busy but in great moods which helped. They seemed to be short staffed which is understandable on Christmas Eve. I had a "Simple Salad" which was wasabi greens, persimmon , toasted croutons and evoo. Exceptional! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the potatoes and spinach were wonderful. My husband's Kobe steak was also amazing and the roasted brussel sprouts fabulous!! We were not disappointed in our meals.
