Chez Delmofresh seafood!This is my favorite seafood restaurant in Montreal. Great seafood and excellent service. This place is great for travellers because whenever i am in Montreal i can sit at the bar at Chez Delmo and always have someone to talk to if i want, with Chris the bartender or one of the regulars. i had octopus and seafood pasta, both were delicious. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was very professional, relaxed and helpful. The greatest thing about the evening was the excellent meal: fresh seafood cooked to perfection.
We finished the night at the bar where a few regulars were watching the hockey game with the owners.
A beautiful experience all around.

We tried the halibut and the walleye and both were terrific, I thought the wine was reasonably priced so overall a very good value. They remembered me and made me feel great. The staff is terrific and very welcoming. This time we tried the halibut - flown in fresh from Norway, top quality and impeccably done- and lobter newburg -over 2.5 pounds!- For starters salmon tartare and grilled octopus, both perfect.
