Didier Jouvenet comes to Chez Catherine having spent 32 years with the finest restaurants, including 20 years at La Grenouille and 8 years at The Carlisle Hotel. Born and raised in Lyon, France in a family of restaurateurs, he was understandably attracted to the kitchen early in life. His wife Edith is from Marseilles. She will welcome you and is also in charge of the provencale decoration.
Alexander Gomes is the chef de cuisine. 32 years old, he is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. His assistant is David Huenergardt. Stephane Bocket, born in Dunkerque, has been the Maitre d'Hotel since 2005, after many years at Alain Ducasse's restaurants in NYC and France.
