The daughter is a graduate of a culinary school and I had been to their home many times for spectacular home made dinners. I told them I wasn't a gourmet chef but to pick ANY restaurant in Park City and I would treat them. The daughter chose Chez Betty which was still on my "bucket list" after fifteen years. They were both knowledgeable about wines but the mother and daughter preferred distinctly different kinds. With the help of the sommelier they chose one that pleased them both. Since I don't drink I asked for a non-alcoholic beverage such as sparkling cider which was presented in a mini flute with a large raspberry and refilled. The food is very good and well cooked and interesting. Our Server Nancy was very attentive and friendly and handled our 3 fussy boys with aplomb! She was kind to them to and encouraged them to eat!!!
The ambience is quite grown up which is fine if that's what you are!!
Would definitely recommend as a foodie destination. One of our sons is more adventurous and proclaimed that he had eaten very well!!!
The main courses that our other 2 sons ate were actually delicious despite the lack of vegetables and sauces they demanded!!!

By far, our favorite restaurant was Chez Betty. The food and service was excellent. The decor may have been dated, but we didn't care. We dined at several high end restaurants in Park City proper and were mildly disappointed. Don't let the homey atmosphere turn you off. We were looking for some good "food break" during our ski vacations. We could not have hoped better. Away from the Main Street area, this restaurant is really the illustration of "neighborhood gem". Outstanding food, great service, great portions (if these were the "petites", I can only be scared by the "regular sizes" :-)). Soup, duck, house pastas, hanger steak with lobster (!), everything is good. Every item was amazing. Best appetizer was goat cheese ravioli. For main courses the mussels were incredible. Service was amazing and friendly. $18 corkage fee and only 300 yards from great Utah liquor store. Service was exceptional. Will come here every time we come to park city. One nit: the tasting menue included a bison hanger steak dish with arugula and the main menue combined what appeared to be a smaller portion of the bison hanger steak with sea scallops; we did not do the tasting menu but were surprised when our waiter told us that we could not swap the tasting menu bison dish for the a la carte one.
