  • "The food was good as always. The chips is why we come all the time, and it was a bit annoying having to ask for a refill with the waiter staring at us like "you want another?". I wish the waiter was a bit more accommodating, but overall it was still Chevys, and the food was really good!"

The restaurant has had a complete makeover, the menu and its recipes have been revised, and the service has been greatly improved. With its darker wood tones and attractive light fixtures, the restaurant and bar feel more sophisticated than the typical TexMex dining establishment. The cocktails were delightful, the fresh guacamole was perfectly balanced, and our various orders were flavorful and delicious. Arturo was a friendly and efficient server who treated us like long-lost friends. Well done, Chevy's."

That said half my order didn't show up because "the kitchen was out" or they were "making it" ie no sauce for my flautas, corn cakes arrived 15 minutes after entrees, etc. Not the restaurant's fault but unbridled shrieking children everywhere. It is Orlando."

  • "Made reservation ahead of time, but still had to wait 30 minutes. Service was slow and the server forgot part of my meal. I asked the server to cancel the forgotten item but still ended up paying for it because he didn't know how to properly delete the item off my bill. Food was pretty good... No fried ice cream though. I'd recommend this as a "plan B" if Rocco's Tacos wait time is too long. "

  • "Gregio was a fantastic and gracious waiter, like the kind you want to special request. We used Open Table to book a table for 7 people at 7pm. When we arrived, there was not a table ready because the restaurant's policy is to take reservations at least 3 hours in advance. There were 3 parties of 9 ahead of us. Hostess acted like it was not her problem. She did not apologize or even act apologetic. After 20 minutes, the front manager scrambled and sat us outside, which was perfectly fine. Please fix the Open Table system or quit using it."

  • "From the time we were received at the door by the hostess till our meal was complete the service was outstanding and friendly. We were a party of 3 adults and 4 children from the ages of 3 to the 58, all were treated well and spoken too. The waiter was funny, friendly and accurate with all our requests and speedy. The food is slightly different from what most people consider traditional tex mex, however it was prepared outstandingly well, the flavors were super with a great selection to choose from including a better than average children's menu. The cost was comparable to or slightly lower than most (GOOD) sit down restaurants. Florida is a difficult state to find good Mexican food in so give Chevys a try, bet you wont be disappointed!!!!"

  • "Took a while for the clearly overworked waiter to notice us, but finally he did and brought what are without any doubt the very best chips and salsa to our table. The place was quite noisy for a Tuesday, with people having to talk loud over the music (shut it off, please if people are there to talk). After spending ridiculous amounts of money in the various theme parks for tiny portions of mediocre food, our dinner of nachos (which my wife and I shared) was out-of-this-world! It was also so affordable. If I could, I would eat at a Chevy's once a week. Except for the fireworks at Epcot, Chevy's was the best experience we had in Orlando! Yes, it was noisy, but bearable (plus it was our 28th anniversary!). Wish I'd gotten their salsa to-go!!"

  • "We hadn't eaten at a Chevy's in about 15 years so we were surprised to see that he restaurant has gone through a major overhaul. The restaurant itself looks more "upscale" and the menu has been completely changed. We were put off at first by the much higher prices but the food was excellent. While the quality was spot on, the increased pricing and smaller portions move Chevy's off of our potential go-to list to our special occasion list. 4 stars for food, ambiance and service but we are a bit disappointed that the Chevy's we remember no longer exists."

  • "Being in Disney is magical. They have everything you'd want, and serve you well. But what if you just want to "step outside to the real world?" Chevy's was ideal! They can seat over 100 guests, with a large open dining area, a fully appointed bar, fabulous staff and the kitchen made quick work of our orders. No complaints and a hearty recommendation!"
