"We ended up at Cheval Blanc and had one of the best dinners we've had in a long time. Both the food and the service at Cheval Blanc were outstanding. We started with escargot and ended with a Grand Marnier soufflé. My wife also had beet and goat cheese salad and a lobster crepe. I had a lobster salad and a delicious Cassoulet de Toulouse (braised white beans garnished with duck confit, sausage de Toulouse and pork belly). The waiter and the sommelier were frendly, attentive and helpful."

"Overall, it was a wonderful Easter brunch. We had a 3 year old with us, and it was difficult to find things she could eat on the menu, but for adults there were lots of great choices. I had the cold lobster salad, and it was quite good. The other adult at the table had a petit filet, which he said was okay, but not cooked enough. The medium well was very pink. Service was excellent. The server was friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient. On my last visit, the server was slow, dour and not helpful at all. She was pregnant and looked uncomfortable. This time our server was a great improvement. When we left, the 3 year old was presented with a bag of tasty Easter goodies. That was quite nice as well. She was delighted."

"Cheval Blanc has been my favorite since it opened. We heard that they were now open for brunch so we tried it on Easter Sunday. This was just the third brunch they were open and it was FABULOUS!! Love, love, love the ambiance of this quaint restaurant and the service is always impeccable. We'll be back - SOON!!"

"Our first visit to this Pasadena French restaurant, and we enjoyed our dinner in a noisy room crowded with patrons on a Saturday evening. I liked the halibut fish special and the vegetable soup was fine. My wife liked her petit steak, too. It was a little too noisy for us since we were with another couple and had trouble hearing everyone. We would like to try Cheval Blanc on another evening in the future."

"Delicious food, especially the pear and roquefort tart. Slow bringing my glass of wine. There few customers at that time, but there was much foot traffic with so many staff members going here and there and back again. What were they doing? I went for the Pasadena Restaurant Week dinner.
