"My wife and I had the Chef's Table on our must try list based on all the positive reviews and accolades. We were both disappointed. The ambiance is "okay": it's quiet and stylish, but not particularly intimate, or enchanting. The food was good but not worth the money ($170 for two with only one drink). My seared scallop starter was $20 and had two scallops (felt cheap). The entree's were ~$40 each, my wife had the tenderloin, I had a veal loin. Both dishes were good, but not in the slightest bit memorable. The Keg serves just as good if not better tenderloin. Service was good, timely and pleasant. Overall there are better restaurants in Calgary for less money money (Notables, Muse, Osteria)."

"Absolutely fantastic service in a stellar hotel!! The food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice Sunday brunch. My coffee cup was never empty, the server was amazing and made thoughtful menu recommendations... overall A++!!"

"We sat right beside the kitchen and were able to see most of the food prep. Which is very exciting! The service was awesome, and the entire experience was excellent. It's a nice intimate space that is ideal for a good meal. Will definitely be back."

"Was very impressed with JC service on tuesday. His wine pairing with dinner was great, I also was impressed by the way he didn't rush us considering we where his only table for most of the evening. The food was also done well could have been alittle hotter though."

"Great food! Great service! Great night! I can't say enough about the quality. We finished at the same time as the hockey game and were told the wait for a cab was an hour when we phoned. Our server ran out to the street and flagged a cab down for us so we wouldn't have to wait!"

"This is by far the best service I've received in Calgary. The waiters were very professional, attentive but not stuffy or pretentious and you can tell that they really enjoy working at this establishment.
We had a table next to the kitchen which I truly enjoyed and it was surprisingly quite. It reminded me of the kitchen at Alinea's in Chicago, it's like a well greased machine.
