In historic Winter Garden, just a few miles from Orlando’s theme parks, an intimate gourmet dining experience awaits you. Local residents rave about it and foodies come from all over the world to sample the superb cuisine and intimate service of The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. Our 3 Course Pre Fixe Dinner is priced at 55 dollars per person, and generally consists of 4 choices per course.

One of our chefs will visit your table and answer any questions you may have about the menu of the evening. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy our food and wines in our cozy dining room.

Some of our recent awards include the Florida Trend Golden Spoon, Orlando Magazine Dining Awards, winning Best Restaurant, Best Kept Secret, Best Wine Pairing Dinner, Most Romantic Rendezvous, and Best Chef's Table. For diners wanting a more casual evening, our lively Tasting Room serves tapas and craft cocktails, and does take reservations.

  • "My crones and I sit in the tasting room many Friday or Saturday nights. I always wanted to see how the other half lives. Therefore I made reservations for my parents and I. We received really personalized service. We were guided through the menu course by course by Tarin. We decided on the Mushroom and Chive Crepe. Ma and Pa had the Chef's Filet. I ordered the Pork Chop with Goat Cheese, Candied Collards and Peach Chutney. It is a shame to call this a pork chop because it was more like a rack of lamb in it's presentation. A slice of pork heaven to be more precise. I had the Chocolate Bread Pudding with a little dollop of home spun ice cream. I was happy to spend the money and will be back! This was a real special place."

  • "Where do you start when everything was so wonderful? We have dined all over the world, but this place tops our list! From being seated, to being served the wonderful delights from the menu. Our servers Nick and Howard were terrific, they addressed any concerns we had, and made sure our food was served at the proper temperature. The food was outstanding, especially the foie gras, best I've had anywhere! I can't wait to go back, Just loved it."

The food I had the Lamb rack, my Wife had Filet, my son had grouper, cant remember what my daughter-in law came out in a timely manner and there was nothing left on any of the plates, very smooth operation"

  • "This restaurant is very detail-oriented, we received customized menus upon arrival that said "Happy 5th Anniversary." This small detail set the tone for the rest of the night. Everything was just perfect and the food amazing. The Mushroom Crepe was outstanding, the Wagyu beef was so soft that a baby could eat it. The Crème Brulee was the best I have ever had. Will definitely return."

  • "The Prix fixe 3 course meal is a pleasure. We started with a wonderful cheese plate (an additional course and up-charge). After that we had foie gras and heirloom tomato salad appetizers. The main courses were Filet cooked to perfection with a warm potato salad. The other was a Crown rack of lamb. I thought this was a little to spicy but very flavorful. The desert course was filled with rich and tasty choices. I found a very nice Bourbon to have with my dinner while my lady chose the wine pairing. I have to say the wine pairing enhanced the dinner 10 fold. The selections made both the food and wine better. I highly recommend the Chef's Table for a nice evening out or a special occasion."

  • "We had never heard of Chef's Table, Winter Garden, until recommended by a friend. Best recommendation in a very long time. I have been blessed to enjoy Burn's in Tampa, The Palm in Houston and NYC, Jimmy's Harborside Boston, and other great dining experiences. This was better. From the Chef's server to the quiet and small dining room with view of the kitchen, to great menu options, to some of the best food we have enjoyed, it was indeed as good as it gets. My wife says the pork chops were the best she's ever had ( i sampled and they were for me too) to my black grouper, prepared perfectly, the food would have been worth it even without the great setting. It's an expensive dinner for our budget and well worth the money. As good as it gets."

  • "My wife and extended family had a fabulous birthday dinner last sunday at the Chef's Table. We ordered every possible item on the menu and couldn't find a flaw in anyone of them. The Mushroom Tarte and Foie Gras was exceptional. The chef offered and created an excellent and simple dish that was not on the menu to satisfy my 6 year old's palate. I will be back for a romantic dinner for two or couples date night for sure."

  • "My date and I were nestled in the back corner (upon request) for a special evening together. My date, who has quite a nose for wine, was delighted with the wine selection and the knowledge of the sommelier. We were both extremely impressed with the selection of courses and each course was truly exceptional. I consider myself a "foodie" and I have been to probably every great restaurant in the Orlando area multiple times. The Chef's Table is right up there. The restaurant is located along the main street of downtown Winter Garden and boasts a quaint and cozy dining room in the back with lively bar scene in the front. If you love good food and wine you would be remiss to not make the Chef's Table a part of your regular rotation."

  • "We were stuck in Walt Disney World for a conference (I tagged along on my husband's work trip), but luckily we had a rental car. Chef's Table was a 30 minute drive and worth it. It was more casual than I thought it would be based on the website. That's not a bad thing--just think it's helpful to know. Our waiter was laid back and clearly loves working there. The food was excellent and not overpriced. We both ordered wine pairing, which was also nicely done and well-priced. WDW may be one of the happiest places on Earth, but not at dinner time. If you're lucky enough to be able to rent a car, definitely drive to Chef's Table for a delicious dinner in a casual, intimate setting!"

We had the cheese platter and were so happy we chose it that we will order it again. My husband had black grouper for his dinner it was cooked perfectly. The steak was so tender I almost did not need a knife. The courses are staggered so we had time to talk and digest our food. Our waiter was never far if we neded something! We will go back again for our next special occasion. Great restaurant!!"

  • "I took my husband there for his birthday and he was delighted. The server, Colin, was attentive, pleasant and super informative. One of the things they do differently is give you information on how each dish is made. Many of the dishes include locally sourced ingredients. Their mushroom crepe is so flavorful! The creme brûlée knocked my socks off. The only reason I gave the food four stars was the lamb entree was not my favorite. It was very tasty, however the particular cut they use has a huge bone in it and turned out to be mostly bone and fat, very little tender meat. Overall though, I will definitely consider returning for a special occasion. Very romantic."

  • "I read great reviews on this restaurant and I was looking forward for the experience. Service is great. Our waitress was excellent and very knowledgeable. Place is very hot and you want to wear fresh clothes. The food was good, but no great. I had delicious pork shops. My wife had the filet, but you can have better fillets in other restaurants for that price. I saw the fish plate and did not look good. They just grilled and there is nothing fancy with the food. I had the experience. I was disappointed because I expected better, but it was just an average upscale restaurant. I don't think I would like to go back. "

  • "I took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was an excellent choice. The food was amazing. We both ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly. Wine list and cocktails were on point. The food is a good enough reason to go but the service really tops it off! Our waiter went above and beyond to explain the entire menu with such detail. He had great pride in the food and how it is all prepared. Get the cheese plate! Best thing ever. Wasn't a big fan of the peanut butter ice cream (it was more of a mousse) but the fruit crumble was awesome! Would definitely go back! "

  • "As a resident of Winter Garden we knew about the Chef's Table and had dinned there on a Sunday afternoon outside. Their food is unique, fresh and outstanding by any gourmets standard but the service is top notch and the entire business a First Class operation. The wife & I decided on the Chef's table for Mothers day 2014, we rarely ever go out to dinner on holidays i.e. Mothers day, Easter, etc. as we find the food at most better restaurants on those days akin to wedding factory food and expensive for what you get in return. A $55 a head most would think the Chef's table a bit on the expensive side It is NOT! You get very what you pay for we can't wait to bring a handful of our "Foodie" friends there"
