  • "At last, a restaurant that is prepared for its advertised special event: Easter Brunch. Our server was outstanding and knowledgeable, the Poached Eggs were excellent with just the right amount of Country ham (but the french fries were a bit soggy). The cheddar bread drops also were delicious. and the COFFEE WAS HOT AND FRESH!! Great Job! "

  • "Geoff is consistent & reliable w/o being predictable !! & ea of his banner locations is different from the others that diners get a different experience w/o getting bored!!"

  • "This was our third trip back to Chef Geoff's for Easter Brunch. I always enjoy this restaurant and this time is no different. While other restaurants really hike up the prices for the Easter Brunch, Chef Geoff's prices were very reasonable. One objection, if one can call it that, is that the menu has remained the same over the last few years. I also noted a lack of fruit and other produce to accompany the meal. This is important to me and I can judge a restaurant entirely on this alone."

  • "Dinner was just lovely. We had the mushroom ravioli and the Artichoke and Spring Pea Risotto. Both were exceptional. Our waiter, Jason, just sealed the deal. He was delightful, spent the appropriate amount of time attending to us and had a wealth of information about the wine list. His recommendation was superb with our dinner. We'll ask for him next time."

  • "Menu was different from typical Sunday brunch- the menu that had us choose CG's to begin with. Brie stuffed french toast was smothered in berry sauce, rather than in a dish on the side at the downtown location. Scrambled Eggs were requested to have cheese in them. Eggs arrived cold and with unmelted shredded cheese sitting on the top. Kids waffle was just that- a waffle on a plate. It felt as though care was not taken to make this a special holiday meal. We generally love brunch at CG's but Easter Brunch was a disappointment. On a positive note, service was fantastic as usual. "

  • "Coffee was cold; entrees were just ok. Best thing here are the appetizers and the desserts."

  • "The food is always delicious. The service was good but it was a bit slow and we went for a business lunch so we were hoping to be out of there quicker. "

  • "Loved the vibe and the food. First off this place is not in one of the Tyson Malls which is nice for a change. Valet parking for $3 is very reasonable. The dining room is upscale feel left over from previous owners. The difference now is the service was great and the menu very interesting with plenty of choices for all. But what really matters in the end is the food which was outstanding. I will be back to try dinner at some point. "

  • "I have had really great brunches at this restaurant and was looking forward to my first dinner experience. The experience left me rather underwhelmed. My steak came out cold. Not stone cold, but more like room temperature. It was as if it had rested a little too long. Perhaps they cooked my steak first and was waiting for the other dishes in the party. Whatever the case may have been, it was definitely not what I had expected. I really wanted to like dinner at Chef Geoff's as much as I like the brunches there. But alas, it was not to be. I will return for the awesome french toast, but don't think I'll be back for dinner any time soon. "

  • "Chef Geoff's is a solid restaurant that I would go back to. The Lamb Kofta was delightful and the fact that they had a "skinny" drink on the special cocktail menu made me happy. The service was also good. "

  • "I thought the service and management were very professional and very good. I found the place too loud, and we had to talk loudly for the other person to hear. I found the food only fair to good tasting, but very resonably priced. So, I would return."

  • "Another great experience at Chef Geoff's! We brought our friend who has a severe gluten allergy -- the wait staff went above and beyond to assist with the menu and even provided a special "gluten free" menu. My friend was very impressed with the service and loved her dish. Overall great experience!"

  • "Be ready to shout when you eat at this restaurant. The noise level leaves a buzzing in the ears! The food and service is ok but the hostesses need some training in being pleasant."

  • "Fabulous, as always. Sat at the bar and had some great appetizers and drinks. A perfect way to spend a Saturday night close to home."

  • "Our group of six had a wonderful experience. We were there to celebrate a birthday. The menu was varied with something to please everyone. Appetizers were fun and really different. Loved my beet and goat cheese ravioli. Our server did a great job, this place is a winner!"

  • "We went on a double date with friends and had a blast. Great food and drink list! We were able to laugh loudly and take our time at our table to wrap up good conversation. The restaurant service was absolutely fabulous."

  • "the flourless chocolate cake was very good. The chicken scallopini entree was bland. It lacked flavor. Unexciting dish. I would not recommend ordering it."

  • "This was a good place to meet a friend for dinner. Easy to find and get to with a nice menu selection and good food. Nice wait staff, which was attentive but didn't pressure us to order extras. Best of all, they left us alone to talk when we were done with our meal. I'd prefer it a little quieter, as the noise level was a bit distracting."

  • "Brunch was great and service was good overall. The noise level was almost rediculous though. They sat a large group by my friends and I who did not control their kids. Management did not say nor do anything even when the kids were running in front of the servers coming out from the kitchen. I know the noise from the kids is not the resteraunts fault, at least completely, but the sound level overall was way to loud for an "uposale" resteraunt. Overall a good place to go, and probably will be back to give it a second shot with the noise level. Monday nights are half priced wine so we may have to check that out as well."

  • "Service was prompt and very professional. The food was good but our dishes contained a high level of salt which overshadowed the natural flavors of our meals. Overall dining experience was very good."

  • "I had never had dinner there before, only lunch. The dinner menu was great--lots to choose from. I had the mushroom ravioli, my friend had the shrimp and grits. We were both more than pleased. Walking through the bar on the way into the dining room it appeared to be a very lively scene. Prices for the dinner very reasonable."

  • "Delightful dinner, as always, at Chef Geoff. Now just waiting on the weather so we can sit outside -- best place in Tysons area to sit outside.."

  • "I would have to say that for the amount of money we spent here, we would have had bottomless mimosas or drinks and endless amounts of foods at other OpenTable brunches. The value is definitely not worth it. I would like to come back and try lunch or dinner menu. I do not recommend this place for brunch."

  • "The restaurant being away from the Malls and main roads makes it calmer than many other choices in Tysons. The decor is very pleasant and the service was great. I had a business lunch there and it's a good spot for that. The food is what you would expect from Chef Geoffs, consistent, tasty, but nothing fancy."

  • "First time at Chef Geoff and went there for a birthday party. The staff was wonderful and our server very good and knowledgeable. We had the lentil soup - a little thick - which the waiter warned us. My biggest complaint - and this happens at a lot of restaurants - was the wine selections. The wines were very much overpriced. We ordered a $48 dollar bottle of Chardonay - and that was one of the cheapest on the menu. Why can't a restaurant sell a $25- $30 dollar bottle of wine. I would not go back there again because of the wine prices. The food was good but not good enough to compensate for the amount of money we spent to have a few glasses of wine with dinner."

  • "Every time I done at Chef Geoff's the hostess, waiters and food are ALWAYS the same--- friendly, polite and attentive and the food is good."

  • "Consistently good food and drink. We had reservations for a table, but chose to sit at the bar. Service was spot on. Our bartender recommended the duck breast for my husband.... it was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious!! I loved also that he kept my water glass full. Will definitely return. Keep up the good work!!"

  • "Who would have known that there's a little corner, hidden behind the likes of Tiffanys at Tysons Corner where you can grab a late night dinner after a concert. Everything was delicious. The table attention was perfect; not overbearing, but certainly attentive. While I only got to taste someone else's pizza, I know I'll be back to try that. The dinner salad with chicken was well prepared, but BORING!!! It needed to be kicked up a bit with ~ whatever... A fried oyster or a remoulade ~ or something... Nice meal anyway! Oh, I stole everyone else's desserts ~ they were super."

  • "I loved my Steak Frites, but my wife said her Crab Cake Sandwich was "ordinary" and "not tasty". Friends enjoyed their trout and risotto dishes. The restaurant ambience was warm and welcoming, and service was attentive without being overbearing. Valet parking was efficient and inexpensive."
