The waitress moved us to the side but the noise was unacceptable. The waiter was also a little too eager to pick up the plates even though not everyone was finished. They really need some noise abatement measures -- carpet? draperies? screens? This time it was a birthday lunch for the 3 of us.....had a wonderful waiter, who was professional, personable and remembered each of our birthdays with a special little box of sweets. I believe his name was Christopher. Super all around. The food was excellent and always is......the only hitch that I've ever encountered at CG's is that sometimes the primary wait person is not the one who serves the food, and on some of those occasions, the food has not been super hot. Our waitress, Christine, was outstanding and the oysters were exquisite! It was a wonderful way to celebrate 84 years young!

I was not happy about being seated at the smallest booth in the whole restaurant. The restaurant was practically empty at the time. Requested a larger booth and my request was reluctantly accommodated.
Our waiter provided excellent service. We started with the calamari which was so crispy and delicious. Also the deviled eggs reminded me so much of home. I loved them! I had the Chef Geoff burger which was cooked perfectly and my sweet potato french fries were to die for! My husband had the short ribs which were again a throw back to home cooking. Very flavorful!
