More vegetarian options would be nice, but they have a bean burger as well as pizzas. Look out for early in the week specials on food all day (and happy hours the rest of the week). Overall a very solid neighborhood choice for a sit-down restaurant. The menu is perfect for that as they have everything from light appetizers to salads and sandwiches to full entrees. We chose to have just an entree. It's especially nice that you can sit in the high-top bar area and get the same great service as in regular seating. The menu changes fairly often. I'm finding that there aren't very many appetizing choices for me on the latest menu, but I'll go back in a little while and hope that the menu has changed again! Our server was new - said he'd been there 3 days - but he was very good - solicitous without intruding on our conversations, happy to answer questions, and knowledgeable about the menu items. We dined at Chef Geoff's last year before the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler and found the food and wine to be as enjoyable as last year. The Mediterranean Trio hummus appetizer is our favorite and the crabcake sandwich was full of meat not filler. We shared the wild mushroom and veggie pizzas, both of which were light and non greasy. Monday they surprised me with a celebration to thank me for my 300th reservation via Open Table. It was a very festive occassion and was much appreciated.
I choose Chef Geoff's because the hosts and wait staff (especially Gino) are always welcoming and friendly and exceptionally accommodating for me and any colleagues or guests I bring there. The menu is perfect because there is something for everyone!
