We truly enjoyed our evening. The
setting was gorgeous, service great and food very good."

The hostess wouldn't let us sit
outside because it was "not available" despite having a reservation for the start of brunch and visually seeing other available tables afar. After expressing my disappointment explaining it was my brothers first visit to enjoy these views, she didn't seem to care or offer us to wait. Normally her earlier breakfast round explanation would have made sense however I saw other families being seated right after us outside and another Asian family being seated right next to us inside, which makes me question if she was racially biased. If CheAhChi wants to keep their 4/5 star rating they should care about their guests regardless, as this has left a bad taste in my mouth. The color of money is green and plastic!"

Unfortunately I'd have to say this
restaurant is overrated. Awkward conversations with waiters and hostesses. Everyone assumed we were staying at the resort and somehow could not comprehend we were only here for dinner. No complaints regarding food and wine except for the prices - if you aren't prepared to pay >$24 per appetizer and >$30 for entrees, do not come here. Also, there is no view of anything at night, so I would recommend coming here for sunset or going to their restaurant next door, Ti Gavo, for sunset and prickly pear margaritas (and food kinder on your wallet). I think the experience is lost when you are surrounded in darkness at night."

We went twice to dine during our
stay in Sedona. Beautiful scenery, great food & service! A must go when you are in Sedona!"
Dined on 2/16/2014
Beautiful, secluded resort
restaurant, nice creative menu, try the buffalo. Wine list via iPad."
Dined on 2/13/2014
I went for the view and left being
happy with dinner. No small feat. Enjoy!"
Dined on 2/4/2014
We booked the reservation because
we were staying there. We were expecting good.... but not OUTSTANDING!!!! The view was breath taking. The service top notch... But most of all, the food was outstanding! We live in Miami and have many great restaurants. Often, when the view is that great..... the food is not. The is not the case here! We also went for breakfast.... SO good we went back the next day.... and even the next! NO need to leave the premises for food! ( and my family calls me a food snob!)"
Dined on 2/6/2014
Food was very good, especially
enjoyed the Tagliatelle appetizer - to die for. Service was impeccable and the ambience is as romantic as anything you could imagine"
Dined on 2/9/2014
Were locals in the winter and have
always enjoyed coming to Enchantment for Holiday and Sunday bunch in the past! The new renovation to Che-Ah-Chi resturant is very appealing, the addition of the open air fireplace room is also breath taking, its like eating along side the canyon wall feeling relaxed and inspired from the spectacular views of canyon!"

New management must be saving
money. No top staff anymore."
Dined on 1/19/2014
Our dinner was great , the
ambience was perfect but the group of children and their parents were rude and totally inconsiderate. Apparently these parents let the kids run the show. The kids were crying, drumming on the table, and just out of control...and the parents did nothing! So management was called by several tables. Management tried to help but they seemed a bit timid to tell the parents to control their children. It really was a very nice meal and service except for the children. We got lots of apologies from the staff and manager and when we got back to our room we received a bottle of champaign as an apology gift."

Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the
Sunday brunch. Great location, great scenery, great experience."
Dined on 12/8/2013
We have been coming to the
Enchantment resort since 1993 and truly enjoy the ambience, service, and menu uniqueness. Major renovation to the main restaurant in the past year has not changed the food quality, service or ambience. We continue to enjoy our dinners, breakfasts and celebratory lunches here. Our visit in December to celebrate a 72nd birthday dinner was - as usual - outstanding. I had the lamb and my husband the flank steak. We shared fingerling potatoes and the house salad - yum. Drinks were great; especially, the French champagne...by the glass."
Dined on 12/2/2013
Great food in an idyllic setting.
The views are turly remarkable, and the ambience is wonderful. Outstanding service coupled with uncomprised food quality completes the picture.... Great place!"
Dined on 12/1/2013
Nice restaurant in a beautiful
setting with spectacular views of Sedona's red rock."
Dined on 11/29/2013
WE HAVE BEEN AT THIS RESORT
SEVERAL TIMES. THE MENU IS NOW VERY LIMITED AND WAY OUT THERE WITH MOLECULAR TOUCHES THAT TRY FOR SOPHISTICATION AND MISS THE BEAT WITH THE FOOD. THE RESTAURANT HAS BEEN RENOVATED AND IS NOT AS LOVELY AS IT ONCE WAS. THE CHEF IS TRYING TOO HARD AS WITH HIS LAMB RACKS -- NO HERBS OR SEASONING ON THE LAMB, BUT LOTS OF STABS AT CREATING THE "FOAM, ETC." ON THE ENTRE'. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND TRIED IT TWICE FOR DINNER. THE CHARCUTERIE "BUTCHER'S BOARD" WAS ALSO DISAPPOINTING."
Dined on 11/24/2013
Beautiful setting at this resort
just outside Sedona. An excellent dining experience."
Dined on 11/22/2013
The restaurant is located at the
Enchantment Resort, which is breath taking on its own. This restaurant is definitely top notch. Our food was wonderful, although our waitress seemed to forget about us toward the end. We kept trying to get the attention of 5 other services and they walked right past us,like they had tunnel vision."
Dined on 11/9/2013
Plus side: The site of the resort
is spectacular, dining room is chic yet comfortable. Minus side: We approached the evening with mixed expectations after reading the other reviews. If you order 3 courses, expect to pay about $100 per person, excluding beverages. OK - we expected that. Here is the downgrade; wagu flank steak was charred, not med rare as requested. The lobster bisque and both our entrées were lukewarm at best. When I informed the maître d who inquired about our experience at the end of the meal, he said he would pass the comment along. No apology, nothing taken off bill. The food was tasty, but at these prices they must master the basics - hot should be hot."
Dined on 11/12/2013
We had a great time. The
restaurant is definitely worth going to. Good menu and great location."
Dined on 11/10/2013
Our dinner at Che Ah Chi was
world-class. The foie gras appetizer was magnificent -- great flavors and textures, beautiful balance of sweet and savory. And the buffalo tenderloin with poached pear, macrona almonds, gorgonzola and pearl onion agrodolce was spectacular. Utterly satisfying, balanced, and enough for two to share (extra credit to the kitchen for splitting it for us and plating it beautifully)."
Dined on 11/5/2013
Second time we enjoyed Che-Ah-Chi.
Make it a point to return on our annual trips to Sedona. Our waiter was helpful with wines as well as food selectons."
Dined on 10/26/2013
First trip to your resort and to
the restaurant. Just loved the views, had breakfast outside and it was a picture perfect day. The food was amazing and the service was great - exactly what I would expect from the resort. Thanks!!"
Dined on 10/13/2013
We arrived in time for sunset. The
food and service were wonderful."
Dined on 10/12/2013
Wonderful evening. We enjoyed
ourselves tremendously. We were told to go here by everyone in our party and are glad we listened to the recommendation."
Dined on 10/6/2013
We were here five years ago, the
Enchantment still holds. The views before sunset are simply incredible. Then the star show begins. The wine list on the ipad is a great idea. The sommelier was quite helpful and served our wine."
Dined on 10/3/2013
The scenic setting for drinks and
dinner were outstanding. The food was on par with other first class Resturants in the area but more costly."
Dined on 9/23/2013
We knew this would be special but
the number of "ooohs" and "aaahhhs" from our group during our dinner said it all. We simply ran out of adjectives to describe the exquisitely prepared food, the decor, and the scenery. Count on at least 100 per person if having wine (including tip), but it's worth it to make that special occasion a memory of a lifetime."
Dined on 9/23/2013
This is a place you go for a
special occasion. The food, service and view are terrific and the prices reflect it. If you are staying at the Enchantment Resort, then most certainly take at least one meal here. We had filet mignon which was cooked to perfection and I had the fois gras appetizer which can be difficult to find. It was terrific all around. We moved to an outside table for our coffee and desert."
Dined on 9/12/2013
I went for Sunday brunch on Labor
DAY Week end. The food was good but not excellentl. It would have been better on a day when I could Order individual items from the menu. It was all just 'Good.' But the view is spectacular! So for $49 you get a drink, meal and coffee With a great view."
Dined on 9/1/2013
Great view ( Sunset over the
Sedona Red Rocks), great food, Everyone at the restaurant was friendly and happy ! We arrived early and got the best seat in the house and we were not even guests of the Enchantment. Just can not say enough about the experience !"
Dined on 8/31/2013
One of the most beautiful views in
the world. Food was excellent ."
Dined on 8/29/2013
The food is superb and the service
outstanding. Sunset views of canyon are special."
Dined on 8/21/2013
The newly renovated Enchantment
Resort restaurant, Che-Ah-Chi, presented a creative menu that was well prepared and presented. The service was excellent as was the ambience. Costs were commensurate with the total experience of the evening."
Dined on 8/19/2013
Wow, we had such a great
experience there, We started out at 180 for wine and appetizers and were able to sit out and enjoy that beautiful backdrop of red rock!! Then we went in to have dinner at Che Ah Chi. It was top notch. The food was incredible and artfully prepared. Our server could not have been more personable and enjoyable. He added a wonderful mood to our experience, Foodies will love and appreciate this experience!!"
Dined on 8/8/2013
We had a spectacular meal and
wonderful time at sunset amongst the red rocks. I enjoyed the Buffalo, organic salad and the Risotto as an appetizer. All were excellent. The ambiance was fantastic and service was also very good. Thanks for helping us celebrate a special anniversary in Sedona."
Dined on 7/25/2013
The Enchantment Resort is
beautiful. It is located several miles from the center of Sedona. The food was great and the views of the Red rocks were breathtaking. We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary there and it was a great choice."
Dined on 7/18/2013
Although unavoidably we had to
dine later in the evening which only gave us about 15 minutes of the fabulous view. The food was amazing and the wine selections very eclectic. The service and wine steward were exceptional. We would definitely dine there again, but bring your wallet filled. Joyce C."
Dined on 7/20/2013
Sat on the patio overlooking the
red rocks and it was breathtaking. But....the salad had soggy lettuce, the root vegetables were tasteless and the risotto was dry and tasted like metal. The chocolate cake dessert with chocolate flake gelato was amazing! The restaurant did not have our Open Table reservation, but happily found us a table inside by the window which we promptly moved from. The Wine Tasting group dinner inside was so loud that almost everyone else including us moved to the patio. If there are going to be restaurant sponsored dinner events, they need to be in at the very least a semi-private room. Our server was terrific when he was around. Because so many folks moved outside from inside, he was spread way too thin."
Dined on 7/14/2013
Our first trip to Sedona and The
Enchantment experience was most memorable. However, my wife andI were extremely disappointed with the direction to "dress down" this experience by opting to allow casual attire. Although we ignored and enjoyed our magical night the red rock and wine shared, it was disappointing to be seated amidst people in polo shirts, cowboy hats and flip flops. We highly recommend Che A Chi not waiver on a jacket required dress code, as it would serve to only add to their capacity of unique and a fine dining experience."
