A word from Chaya Brasserie Beverly Hills
At CHAYA Brasserie, Our Corporate Executive Chef Shigefumi Tachibe, who is the culinary force behind every Chaya restaurant, creates a menu that reflects his pioneering approach to Euro Asian cuisine. Chef Tachibe infuses exotic ingredients and honored culinary traditions from his native Japanese roots into all of his menus. This culinary approach is reflected in our lunch and dinner menus, offered in the dining room, bar, and patio. In addition to our dinner menu, comprised of an array of salads, hot and cold appetizers, sushi, meat, fish and pasta, a seasonally spontaneous Chef’s Tasting Menu is available by request. Guests can enjoy Happy Hour specials in our bar and lounge featuring unique bar bites and signature cocktails. Our menus are refreshed all year long, using Farmer’s Market and locally-sourced ingredients. CHAYA Brasserie also offers half off bottles of wine on Tuesday nights.

  • "We went to Chaya because of a Travelzoo deal, and it didn't disappoint. The food was mostly excellent (only 1 of our 4 dishes was not as good as expected). Service was very attentive and ambiance was great. Nice looking space."

  • "I went to Chaya to celebrate an anniversary. It was a great causal fine dining experience. Service was great and efficient. The food was so good, there was nothing left and we had three courses. Although, I wish it was a bit cheaper do that we go more than special occasions...It is definitely worth saving up for. Louisiana Shrimp and Lobster Rock Shrimp Ravioli = amazing! Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding was to die for!"

  • "Perhaps because of the hour--1pm--or the day--the Thursday on the "eve" of the 4th of July--we (my good friend and I) had a wonderfully peaceful and perfectly situated corner banquette table. Our server was helpful, gracious, solicitous without being patronizing, and just terrific. Too full for dessert, we just enjoyed reading that menu over coffee, and will return with it in mind. The food was delicious--salads with very fresh greens and really delicious vegetables (tomatoes were perfect, fr example), and the lunch was just what my friend and I had hoped for--a luxurious and celebratory event."

  • "My now husband and I had our first date at Chaya 22 years ago. Unlike most of the other restaurants that were around at that time, Chaya is still there. I think the secret to their long success is that the food is still excellent, and it is one of the few restaurants where one is able to dine without saying "what did you say? i can't hear you?" every few minutes. When we went back last week to celebrate our 22nd dating anniversary, our server said the dessert was on the house. How "sweet" was that??"

  • "We travel to LA a few times/year for decades and have in the past enjoyed Chaya's Asian fusian. Sunday, Father's Day was the exception. The had a special smokey menu , which was terrible. Our favorites were not available and only BBQ joint food was on the menu. We had the whole catfish, which tasted like mud. A salad , which was ok. A prawn starter that was mediocre. To complete the flop was a banana desert that was supposed to be 3 part , a fritter/ banana infused ice cream, and a 3rd part ... What we got was a black over ripe banana that should have been thrown away, totally mushy, with a scoop of ice cream. My wife ate 1 bite and stopped. We told the server and she made excuses. This used to be an excellent place, not anymore ..."

  • "We hadn't been to Brasserie in some time. Had an opportunity to have lunch here yesterday. The entire restaurant has been re-modeled; it looks terrific. The menu has changed a lot since we were here last. More salads, soups and entrees to choose from. Although, I wasn't too keen on the presentation of the Spicy Crunchy Shrimp roll, it was delicious. It had a unnecessary salad component that seemed to 'Hide" the roll. Steak Salad was excellent. The Salmon Salad was over salted. All in all, it was great to return to place that we saw many, many, lunches and dinners. "

  • "Chaya Brasserie is a lovely go to spot in the south BH/West Hollywood area. While there may be newer or nicer restaurants nearby, you can't go wrong and Chaya."
    Dined on 5/28/2014
  • "The reviews I read all recommended the escargot. So we ordered the escargot.....very disappointing. I ordered the sea bass and sent it back....way too fishy! My husband ordered the pork tenderloin and sent it back....over done! We both then ordered the filet mignon....it was quite good."

  • "first time here. been to other locations. The menu is different form downtown's slightly but the standard chaya items are there. not too noisy (Wed night); the server was great. my paella vaencia was excellent though one mussel was not cleaned thoroughly."

  • "Great spot when you want to have a nice and relaxed dinner with your family. Good food, comfortable seats, nice and friendly service. It is understandable that this restaurants have been there for 30 years. There are other new hip trendy restaurants around, but those places are usually crowded, busy and loud with younger unprofessional waitresses. Chaya is great when you would like to have a nice and relaxed dinner with nicer service. "

  • "How does a restaurant last 30+ years? By delivering great and creative food, wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere. Their menu is anything but stale. Constantly invoking tasty new offerings, making the old reliables even better, CHAYA BRASSERIE is a can't miss great dining experience "
    Dined on 4/25/2014
  • "This is the first time that the restaurant appeared low staffed for the servers. Not only that, our server was not as attentive to our table in a timely manner. "
    Dined on 4/24/2014
  • "This restaurant is a classic! Even thought it's been opened for a long time, the food continues to be excellent! Super high quality, outstanding service and very good price for the quality of food and overall experience. It is definetely a gem! One of my favorite restaurants in LA. You really pay for what you are getting. Their happy hour is also amazing! They have the best escargot I've tried in any french restaurant in LA!!"

  • "My husband and I enjoyed our dinner in the relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant. They have natural lighting with a high ceiling and an indoor bamboo garden which completes an indoor yet outdoor like environment. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The escargot was amazing and both of our main entrees (Honey Dijon Chicken and Fresh Vegetables Pasta) were delicious. The "Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding" is a must try! It was the most memorable dessert we had in a long time. Service was well-timed and friendly, drinks were reasonably priced. We will return here again for another occasion or try their lunch."

  • "Had one of the worst dishes ever! It was recommended by the waitress. Ugh!"
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "The over all experience was good. Pork chop Oder was over cooked and not good! The other food was presented well , room for improvement in taste: based on our table experience. It was 5 of us. Waiter was excellent!"

  • "The offering and food at CB is outstanding and reflects true culinary and creative expertise. The menu has items that anyone will be comfortable eating and also has dishes that one will want to try for the first time. Their handling of fish/seafood is outstanding. The service is so warm and attentive. They don't rush you at all and the courses are beautifully spaced. Desserts are delicious-try the bread pudding> unbelievable yummy. So are the sorbets. Go and have an evening to remember and relish."

  • "In a city with so many excellent restaurants, don't pass this one up. The food is superb. One of the best Halibut dishes I've had, and my date had an amazing risotto. Service is wonderful, and the quaint atmosphere is ideal for quiet conversations or a business meeting."
    Dined on 3/12/2014
  • "The service was attentive and warm and made a big difference in this restaurant experience. This is not a new restaurant, so the menu is not too exciting, but the food was solid and consistent."
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "The service was mediocre. Waitress did not know the menu Kitchen was ridiculously slow and when we complained the host said it always takes. 1 1/2 hours for a main bourse to arrive"

  • "A gem of an LA restaurant still terrific after 30 years."

  • "Though not the newest place in town, Chaya Brasserie continues to be a GREAT restaurant with a lively scene, very cool and attractive interior, friendly and efficient service, and of course, DELICIOUS food and snappy cocktails. A family favorite, we're never disappointed."
