It combines scenic splendor, a magnificent building, and a rich tradition of history and culture that is unparalleled in Colorado. It's the ideal place to host a wedding reception reahearsal dinner, or after-wedding brunch. It's also a unique setting for birthday parties, bridal showers, family reunions, bar and bat mitzvahs, retirement parties or any kind of special celebration. Chautauqua Dining Hall has been a Boulder tradition since 1898 and the Colorado Chautauqua, at the foot of Boulder's iconic Flatirons, is a National Historic Landmark. Enjoy timeless mountain and park views from our wraparound porch while savoring classic American cooking for breakfast, lunch,… dinner, and our Sunday buffet brunch. The Dining Hall has a full bar with a well chosen, moderately priced wine list and a nice assortment of handcrafted, local beers. "Dined at Chautauqua for Easter Brunch. Food was good, service was excellent, the setting was breathtaking. We had a reservation for noon, we were greeted and seated immediately. Had a beautiful view of the mountains, attentive servers and the food was good. I think brunch was overpriced at $38 per person but realize we were also paying for the location and view."

"Even though I went for the Brunch and it is self serve, it was hard to get service for drinks, even simple water. Otherwise, a great place, with a spectacular view! Very good food for a buffet style."

"They were behind, short staffed and it showed at the front door. had reservations and seated within 10 minutes. Lots of open tables but they "wanted to give the kitchen a chence to catch up". Ordered a salad first and then the green chili and meatloaf. all came out at the same time. little thing but this place has a reputation."
