We enjoyed caesar salads, wine, dinner trout (chorizo hash) and the filet (caramelized onion mashed potatoes) and the souffle featured dessert this visit was lemon with lavender. Simply wonderful and fresh throughout. Always excellent service, very attentive staff and owner(s) on floor to greet you. Convenient to downtown and park with ease."

  • "we had brunch on sunday at the restaurant, with a party of six people. our food was incredible, but the service was absolutely horrendous. our waitress rolled her eyes several times (that we all witnessed) as she made her way to our table. we waited 30 minutes for our drink order, and she brought the drinks two at a time. she didn't remember who had ordered which drinks, and we were not given nor offered refills until we asked for it. everything seemed like such a huge inconvenience to the waitress. while we would like to dine again at this restaurant since the food was so good, i am not sure that we will since we can get much better service at any number of brunch venues in town."

  • "Every time I've taken someone to Chato Brassiere it is a memorable experience. The staff is always very professional, attentive without begin intrusive, they never fail to make wonderful suggestions in regard to the menu. The best dessert soufflees I have ever put in my mouth, and the flavor is consistently changing--I've never had the same flavor twice -- tiramisu is amazing! Perfectly cooked entrees, paired wonderfully with excellent side items; I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!"

  • "Entire experience was superb. I had the filet with crab cake. Meat was cooked exactly as ordered. Oddly, the standout of the the night was the salad: wedge with tomato, blue cheese, onion rings, and bacon vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was perfectly tangy. Will definitely eat here again."

  • "We had a wonderful meal at Chato Brasserie. I had the Diver Scallops with lobster risotto. The risotto was rich and the scallops were perfectly prepared. My husband had the Short Ribs and a Caesar. He said both were really good and he liked the preparation of the salad. Our service was excellent both at our table and the bar. We will be back and highly recommend it."

  • "Had a great night out with my niece. We decided to do a taster's run thru the small and medium plates. The Steak Tartare was an incredibly tasty and rich bite. Sweetbreads were very good, everything really. There were 2 stars though. The Peanut Brittle Souffle with the butterscotch sauce...always, ALWAYS order the souffle here. Most importantly, L.T. provides unbelievable service. We sat and ate at the bar when we saw her there because she is that good. Highly recommend this place. As a lover of Chattanooga cuisine, it ranks among my "go to" short list."

  • "With its pricey menu by local standards, Chato Brasserie is more of a special occasion treat for us. We were the very first table seated for a 5:30 reservation. Service was excellent, as always. My wife's entree was excellent, though my filet mignon was badly undercooked (rare vs. medium requested, it was purple inside) and it still wasn't up to the proper temperature after additional broiling, though it was edible. We will be back, though I might try something other than beef for future meals. The chocolate dessert was very rich and more likely something to share rather than eat alone. We will be back."

  • "Great little eatery in the bottom of a condo development on the north shore in chattanooga. It's more of a special occasion place for us but the food certainly rivals any of the best in town. I think St. Johns still has them beat but not by much. Everything flows very well. We ordered apps, salad, and entrees and they seemed to be timed perfectly. Would recommend this place to anyone."
