Chasin' TailsgreatON2 greatest server ever...go there every friday night and request her all the time5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, odd presentation! The food was excellent! Delicious seafood comes in large bags with choices of flavorings, corn and potato. A lite awkward to eat, but really yummy. All in all, top notch food but needs some fine tuning!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and great food!Went here for Mother's Day and the server could not have been more accommodating. She was fun, pleasant, and helpful. The food was excellent as usual!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Seafood Chow!Nothing like putting on a bib and chowing on your favorite seafood with no silverware. Sha-bang, sha-bang!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Surprise! We booked a reservation for ten for our daughters Birthday. Table was ready when we arrived. Two of our guests couldn't make it so we told the hosts. They were understanding and quickly responded to the situation by removing a small table. They couldn't have been nicer about it! The food was great - 'Nawlins style! The service was outstanding and quick. They even brought dessert and sang Happy Birthday to our daughter! Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable evening!!! Thank you!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding!I was a huge fan of this place. The service was incredible and the food was top notch as well. Gotta get the wings with the shebang sauce. The food was superb, the service great and the ambiance was very good. I would highly reccomend Chasin Tails.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, drinks were pricedGreat food, drinks were priced right, good service over all! Will definitely be back SOON!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you don't break out ofIf you don't break out of your box and try the fried green tomatoes and gator bites...well I just feel sorry for you. Gator is a meat like squid; do it right, it is tender and succulent, do it wrong and your jaw will have a nice work out. I can tell you right now that Chasin' Tails cooks know how to do it right! Fried tomatoes were on POINT (and even better when I reheated them in the oven the next day).
I had gator bites and sweet potato fries and Mom had the catfish basket with Cajun fries. Add a side of tomatoes and some sausage and you have a nice meal (plus some leftovers)!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMReally Good!I have never eaten crawfish before, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Chasin Tails really does it right. They serve you a plastic bag filled with crawfish, a potato (tiny potato, but that’s okay), corn on the cob, and enough butter to stop your heart. It was a great experience, and we will be back :)4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGo for Beers, Stay for Crawfish!!!Chasin Tails is run by a family (maybe brothers?) who's parents both attended LSU. They clearly love creole cuisine and though it's not the cheapest experience it is absolutely delicious. You can adjust the heat / spice of the meal (very appreciated) and flavors yourself (you prefer more garlic? / More cajun spices? They'll be happy to adjust for you. Everything was clearly fresh and service was very good. The owners very much care that you're enjoying the food they've fallen in love with. I even heard the owner mention he wanted to invite the neighbors for a free dinner one night to apologize for a fire drill that occurred at some point. Very classy, I'll be going back as soon as I have time.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMInterestingI will say the food was overall good. Their unusual cooking style is interesting. In hope you like lots of butter. The serving style is just as unusual - no plates or silverware per say. But with crab you don't need much. I had the king crab in garlic and lemon. Medium heat. I enjoy garlic, but was suprised with the amount.
Overall good. Parking is a little shy... So bring quarters I'd the kiosk does not take credit cards. $1.25 per hr.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe first rule of sales forThe first rule of sales for a good restaurant is to know your market and Chasin' Tails has it nailed. Outstanding dining experience. The cost is comparable to similar upscale restaurants. Family/friends oriented without the silverware.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFun experience!New Orleans in Washington! Fun unique menu. Great idea for an experience and food that is a welcome break from the ordinary.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you like true Cajun food,If you like true Cajun food, you will enjoy the tastes of Louisiana here!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had been there before andWe had been there before and loved the concept. My brother wanted a fun place to celebrate 5 years of being cancer-free. He loves picking crabs and I thought that this was just the place. He LOVED it. We were a group of eight, seated comfortably. We ordered three of the special mix -- 4 lbs of meat, corn, sausage and potatoes. The ladies had swamp salads and fried green tomatoes. It was messy, but there is a sink in the dining room to clean up and rolls of paper towels on the table. The beers were huge! The wait staff even brought him a birthday dessert.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was good and came outFood was good and came out quickly. Staff explained the menu very well and were extremely friendly.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are from Louisiana andWe are from Louisiana and having a restaurant that comes very close to down home food is great!
