We had a great table looking out at the lake. The food was outstanding & cooked to perfection. The menu was extensive with some Mothers Day specials. The Chart House ips a great place to celebrate that holiday or that once in a while romantic occasion. The temp. in the dining room was a little warm when we first came in, but the server had the A/C adjusted, and we were more comfortable after that. The food was marvelous and the server was attentive to our needs. He also had a nice a sense of humor and was friendly. A+

We were on a short mini trip to the Scottsdale area and had previous has a wonderful dining experience at The Charthouse for a special occasion and decided to try it again.
From the moment we entered the restaurant and throughout the evening the entire staff was attentive. Johnny, the maître d/Manager visited our table several times during the night to ensure that our experience was satisfactory. Michael, our waiter was also accommodating to us despite the number of tables he was serving that night.
Having the top of the menu personalize congratulating us on the occasion of our 25th anniversary only added to specialness of the night. Our server, Kyle was excellent giving us time to relax and making wine recommendations. He was very gracious and willingly exchanged the rice that normally accompanied the dish with fresh asparagus for no additional charge.
The only negative on the experience was the fish was over cooked, even after we especially mentioned we wanted it medium rare, it was on the well side of medium. For a restaurant that specializes in fish, more attention needs to be given to it's preparation.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food and great atmosphereThis was a special occasion and the food and table service was outstanding. BUT I couldn't give the overall service Outstanding because we arrived 10 minutes are (restaurant was almost empty) and was told in a snooty way to "sit on the bench or go to the bar". Later, when I went to the front desk to ask a question, the other hostess looked at me and answered the phone and spent a LOT of time talking on the phone. I felt that since I was a paying customer, she should have put that person on hold. That person on the line might never show up. But I was there already. We waited 20 minutes for a table with a reservation. Previously the service was very spotty so we stopped going. This time, we had a 630pm reservation, were seated early, had a nice window seat, and experienced excellent service...by far the best yet. The salad bar while not as extensive as some is always fresh and the ceasar salads are made upon request rather than just sitting there.
