  • "We had a great time, my guests enjoyed the beautiful view, we had dinner outdoor. The service and food was very good. We will definitely come back. The indoor dining room was extremely cold."

  • "We knew the view would be amazing, after all, it is The Chart House, noted for scenic waterfront views. The Service was top notch and the food was delicious. The Chef delivered amazing flavors on each dish, beautifully prepared. A really memorable meal and would highly recommend this location in Miami, FL."

  • "Enjoyed a quiet happy hour with a fantastic view of the bay, docked sailboats, and the downtown miami skyline. Appetizers were will priced. Fish tacos and prime rib sliders are a must. Happy hour wine choices were just okay but the well drink options were better"

  • "I have been going to the chart house since I was a young man, use to take girlfriends here when I was dating. Been married 16 years, now I come with my wife and kids, what a great place, please never go away or change."

  • "The food was tasteless and lukewarm. No view through foggy windows in the summer due to condensation from A/C. The salad bar was picked over and not clean in appearance. Other places in Miami to go."

  • "We found The Chart House ad in the Miami Herald. I don't know how we had never heard of it before. Went to celebrate our son's birthday and had a great lunch. The view and food is perfect. Although our server was very nice, it was a little slow, however, it gave us more time to enjoy the view of boats and dolphins!"

  • "The choices of appetizers and specialty deep sea fish is terrific and you can even choose the salad bar with a main entree as a change up. Good selection of wine and variety of unique cocktails. Coupled with the unmatched geographical view, the dining experience is can be be charted from bow to stern and port to starboard at competitive pricing. Mud Cake is a treat and Lava Cake the bomb."

  • "I had not been to the Chart House here in about 15 years. It started out good but went downhill and I avoided it for a long time. I thought I would give it another shot. It was pretty good. We went early, 6:30 PM on a Saturday, and it was uncrowded and quiet. Appetizers and desserts were great. I had a shrimp dish that was quite tasty. The shrimp, however, could have been larger, a bit disappointing there. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable and food came out at a good pace. I would go back again before strongly endorsing. It's worth trying again."

  • "The food is overpriced for the quality. I had the lobster omelet, and it contained a couple of tiny pieces of lobster. The food is not worth the money. I prefer to spend the same money, but somewhere else!!!"

  • "We attended the restaurant for Father's Day. The location was excellent. The food, however, was costly and not entirely satisfactory. Our group of 4 had two persons eating only the salad bar and the other two ordered entrees. The salad bar had not only a number of bowls empty but had really very poor selection of salad items. We had to ask to add food in the empty bowls which was slow and one at a time (our group had a 2pm reservation). The entrees were served closed to 3pm (the two of us eating salad bars had long finished and had to wait for the entrees to arrive for the other two.) The salad bar area was messy. It was difficult to serve the items. All in all, a costly meal but not above fair in our opinion."

  • "Although I use to visit this restaurant frequently, I do not think I will be going back anytime soon. The service was horrible. It took them 45 minutes to bring an appetizer and shortly after the food. The appetizer lacked taste and so did the main entree. The cook was burning the food as there was a strong scent of burning throughout the restaurant. Although waiter was very apologetic, it was a Fathers Day celebration that should have been compensated with drinks or dessert on the house."

  • "I picked the restaurant for 4 reasons-close to event we attended; prior positive experience; celebrating Father's Day and heard it was being torn down."

  • "The ambiance was perfect for the occasion...water side dining on a gorgeous FL Spring day. Food was delish-short ribs ...extra tender/bronzed tilapia, also a treat! Topped off with mud pie--yum! yum! THX for making my bae's bday night EXTRA SPECIAL! :) WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK"

  • "Celebrated my 10 year wedding anniversary and was greeted with a friendly host. We received specially prepared menus with our names on them announcing our 10th year wedding anniversary. The waitress was very nice and the service was good however, they were shorthanded in the kitchen (we were told that there wasn't a chef in the kitchen was the cause for the delay) as we had to wait longer than normal for our salad and meal. When our meal finally arrived with the assistance of the host, the food had to be returned because it wasn't hot, only the plates. Aside from that, we enjoyed our dining at the Chart House."

  • "I have been here a few times before while visiting my daughter at UM, The food is always good and consistent and you can almost always get a table. The service though can be disappointing and this last trip there was the worst it has been. I made reservations yet still had to wait 20 minutes for a table,, then I had to wait almost a half hour for my cocktail, Then I had almost finished my dinner before my wine arrived,, but the empty wine glass came 15 minutes before the carafe of wine, The restaurant was busy but not packed. Just not what you expect when the pricing is so high... Server barely spoke to us. "

  • "The food and service were not bad. However, it looks like the restaurant is not being managed very well. The bathrooms haven't been cleaned, no toilet paper, just gross. I'd rather go somewhere else."

  • "Overall we had a nice meal at the Chart House. We were surprised that the restaurant was not full on a Saturday night. The service was good and the people were very friendly. As there is free valet parking, it was nice not having to search for a garage or parking space. "

  • "Yes, we went to the Chart House on Mother's Day, however, our reservation was relatively early. The service was sub-par for the price of the meal. There was a buffet, but the food was cold and not flavorful. Everything about the experience was pretty bland--which is not what you expect for a $300 brunch. Unfortunately, I think the good ole days of the Chart House being a "hotspot" are gone. Don't think I'll be going back."

  • "THE WORST BRUNCH EVER! Awful menu selection. Cold and unappealing foods that you could tell it had been laying there for hours. Bad placement of food dishes, like a warm crab salad next to a strawberry cream cheese. No tool to brake crab legs was available. Greasy foods, or else, no sauce at all when necessary, like in the eggs Benedict, which, btw, they were served on bland and not toasted dry English muffins. No ice to keep seafood cold, just water so seafood was warm. No sauces available. NO DISHES AVAILABLE to get the food. And when the dishes finally appeared, they came dirty from the pantry, with traces of egg on them. Awful desserts, burnt cookies and muffins. And the AC was broken or not working properly! AND VERY PRICEY ON TOP!"

  • "Beautiful view. I will recommend that you always ask for table outside. "

  • "The brunch for Mother's Day was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. When I went to the dessert table two of the three cakes were gone so there was only carrot cake. Food was okay but nothing really extraordinary - especially at $45.00 per adult."

  • "Went for Mother's Day brunch 2014. The place is filthy. The bartenders stick you with premium brands when you don't call them. The staff is overwhelmed. Management is disengaged and walks past ignoring obvious problems that could be addressed on the spot. The best thing on the buffer was heated tater tots. If they are going out of business for new development on the bay then they just need to close now and stop ripping people off. Please just close. I had good memories of The Chart House."

  • "We went for mothers day brunch buffet. The breakfast part of the food selection was not good at all, the pastries, pancakes were kind of stale. There was a very good crab leg, oyster buffet. "

  • "Had been to Chart House before but this was my first brunch visit. We were a party of 5, celebrating Mother's Day...Chart House was the PERFECT choice. The food variety was impressive, the patio area had an amazing view, and the restaurant appeals to young and old alike. Whether you are looking to reserve a romantic dinner or a family affair w kids of all ages, Chart House can accommodate and wo T disappoint. "

  • "The outdoor dining was lovely, great view of the bay and the city of Miami. The service was very slow; the servers did not pick up our dirty dishes before serving the next course. The waiter seemed to be "in the weeds". The food was very good."

  • "I was celebrating my husbands birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. the service was awesome the food was to die for the lava cake was soooo good. overall I would recommend this place to anyone."

  • "For $150 on dinner, would have expected way more. Ordered an appetizer that never came. Asked for accommodations from the server on the entree and had a "nice" response: "either You get it as it comes, or dont get it at all"-- felt like it was a favor we were doing to be there, not paying $35 a plate. Seating outside would have helped, since that is their main attraction. Would maybe go back just for that. But other Than that, not trying it again- pricey menu with a cafeteria feel and service. Too many other good options around to try that again."

  • "First of all, COMPLIMENTARY valet if you're eating at Chart House, the architect of the restaurant was explicate...you walk in and get greeted by the hostess (expected) but the view isn't!!! The moment you walk in, large views right across of the beautiful bay by the marina. Quiet but not dead and they have a 2 meals for $65 special Sunday- Thurs. The ribs are the absolute BEST...and steak. the lava cake <----- at Chart House= TO DIE FOR. It is Chillis Molton on steroids. And it takes 30 minutes to make so they recommend to order it early and I think you should! We sat by the window instead of outside since it is Miami but they have fans outside if needed. I can't write more but anywho, pricy but SO WORTH IT! Two thumbs up!"

  • "I docked for the night at Dinner Key Marina and wanted to enjoy fine dining. The Chart House in Fort Lauderdale is one of my favorites but the ratings of the Coconut Grove Chart House were mixed. Nonetheless, I could find nothing else in the area which met my needs, so I gave it a shot. It was fantastic. The maître d' greeted us warmly and give us very nice seating. The décor was attractive and the view of the bay outstanding. The server was pleasant and attentive; the food was prepared and cooked to perfection and delivered to our table promptly, although we were not rushed in any way. All in all, it was a first rate and memorable dining experience. I'll be sure to go there again the next time I visit the area."

  • "Went for Easter Dinner upon arrival was told buffet only. We were never told this when making reservation or when reservation was confirmed by phone. The restaurant used to be very busy and food good. This visit it was almost empty of dinners and food not worth the price. Very disappointed."

  • "We had a Chart House in our part of the world many years ago, so we thought we would give it a whirl for old time sake. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The food and ambiance did not live up to our fond memories, not to mention the painfully slow service."

  • "I have been going to the Chart House for several years and returned last week for a special birthday for my friend. I was very disappointed to see that the place seems to have declined quite a bit since my last visit a couple of years ago. The starter of fresh oysters took forever to come from the kitchen, the waiter did not even bother to ask what temperature we wanted our steaks at and they came out cold, and the salad bar which used to be a favorite of ours was filled with brown wilted vegetables. I am sad to see what used to be one of my favorites take a turn for the worse."
