It is off the beaten path so it is less congested. The portions are adequate and the food was served at the right temperature. We were sat quickly, our waiter was very attentive and the view of the marina was beautiful. The only thing is that this is not a "beakfast" type brunch. It is savory off the menu fare with fish and shellfish as the main choices. Also they have a very nice salad bar, but its a bit pricey. They also were out of most of their bottled champagne with only two choices to be had, bad time for that since moms love the bubbly! We had reservations for 2pm and arrived early and they were able to seat us right away. Our server Michelle was awesome and my drink was the best. We sat @ a round table overlooking Marina Del Rey's Beach & watched boatmen as they prepared for a day at sea.
My dad, who's on a diet, had a chopped salad. Upon delivery, he said, "This doesn't look to appetizing." He soon found out the salad tasted much better than it looked. We all started our meal with a hearty bowl of delicious clam chowder. My mom's next course was a crab cake & creamed spinach. I'm not afraid to admit the cream spinach was delectable, fragrant, and seasoned to perfection. I had the butterfly coconut shrimp w/ a sweet chili sauce. Mouth watering! So when that happened a few times it was a little uncomfortable. But the view was gorgeous of the marina and the food was great! We will be back!This Restorant is very well located in front of a yacht club, so that your view is beautiful. Arriving at the place you think the quiet environment and unpromising, but once you're testing your dishes you'll seducing more and more, and still testing them. We tried the shrimp in coconut, a few fish with sauces and very delicious vegetables, fully repeatable.
