    We came for our anniversary yesterday. The service was very poor. I’m not sure if our servers name was Brittney or Briana something along those lines. She was not what we would expect to have at this kind of restaurant. She barely acknowledged the fact it was our anniversary and we got no card from the restaurant. She had way too long of nails for such a high end restaurant. She wasn’t very enthusiastic which was upsetting as we were happy to be there. She barely came over to our table while we were dining.

    This is our favorite restaurant in the Lake Tahoe basin. The service is great as well as the food and beautiful views. Our waiter, Michael is a real gem and always makes our experience special. We always recommend to both family and friends!

    The food was outstanding!!! Our server was very good!! But.. We got there early and went to the bar first. The female bartender was extremely unprofessional as my husband ordered his drink while I was in the ladies room and asked what kinds of Chardonnay were available. The bartender without a word,there the wine list on the bar and turned away. When I got there she came back and I told her which one I would like. My husband still had no drink. She brought me my wine and still nothing for my husband. I finally asked her about his drink, stating that he’d ordered, and her response was, “ Not from me!” Number one… she was the only female there and number two, you don’t respond that way to a customer… ever. The male bartender did at one point ask my husband if he needed a drink and he of course thought the other bartender was already getting it. He was very professional.

    Food was great. Ambiance is very nice with the location as it looks out over a portion of Lake Tahoe and is hidden in the trees. The service was not that good for a supposed 5-star restaurant. We had to explain to the person dropping off our drinks who ordered which ones. This was a little chaotic as we passed drinks around the table and there was only 6 of us. Dinner came, and everyone's' food was brought out except for mine and I only ordered a salad for my entree. I didn't want anyone's steaks to get cold, so I told them to not wait for me. A little embarrassing as everyone was eating and offering me food from their plates because I didn't have my entree. My sister's lobster tail didn't come at all, and we had to flag down the manager to ask when it was coming. She wanted to eat her steak with the lobster-DUH. We had to flag down the server to order more drinks and ask for bread, etc. It just wasn't the experience we are used to when dining at a restaurant of this caliber. The menu prices are indicative of a higher quality of service and food. Food yes, service no.

    Our waitress made the whole experience just totally amazing. It was my friend's birthday and our waitress bent over backwards to make her birthday experience the best it could be. You need more people like Lauren. She was very friendly, kind and happy. Lauren was amazing at customer service which is missing in this country.

    I was expecting a most spectacular evening, however, I was disappointed. The restaurant was out of a couple of the entree choices, and a dessert choice. The waitress seemed a bit distracted and overwhelmed. The views are overgrown with trees, so that you really don’t have a good view of the lake and sunset. Will not recommend to anyone traveling through the area.

    Our experience was just okay during this visit. The food was not exceptional for the price. The server did not engage well, so there lies the disappointment. It’s a pretty place, but we left not feeling great. We are Landry Club Members, so we will be back👍
