View was phenomenal, fairly empty which I attribute to its non-obtrusive location, and the fact that a salad bar seemed to be the center-piece of the restaurant was odd. Also, 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, and a bottle of inexpensive ($59) wine ended up being $190 after ~20% tip. The food is consistently good, the service is outstanding, and the view can't be beat. I've only dined there on a couple of occasions, but the food has always been very good. There are window tables with a view of the river, which can be very romantic in the evenings; yet it is a place you can take your children. Chart House did that and more! Our menus stated "Chart House wishes you a Happy Birthday" with the date printed beneath and gave them to my cousin to take home. It has a great salad bar selection and the entree selection has something for everyone.

We usually eat at the Chart House in Jacksonville 3 or 4 times a year and we have never been disappointed.
The service was very good and typical of other visits there. The server was attentive and knowledgeable and we have a high level of confidence that my wife's allergies (onion, garlic, peanuts) will be taken care of everytime.

Everyone in my party enjoyed the experience. Our server “Oscar” did a wonderful job with our orders. He was polite, knowledgeable and conversational. He was well-rounded and made everyone feel comfortable. Though a little pricy the service made it worth it. Our food was prepared as requested and to our satisfaction. The one in Jacksonville was just as good. The food, as always, was superb and our waiter (Burt) was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Since getting food and service of that quality costs a little more, the prices are a little higher than your typical restaurant, but it is not overpriced for what you are getting and completely worth it.
