Chart House Restaurant - Hilton HeadPerfect Mother's Day LunchOur waiter, Edgar, was very attentive and professional. The food was delicious as well as beautifully presented. Our window seat requested through Open Table was perfect and the view splended. Even though Mother's Day is a busy day and the restaurant was full, this was one of our best dining experiences on the Island and we have lived here 13 years!!! The dinners and desserts were outstanding-not a piece of food left on any dish! The menu stated the souffle was for 3 or 4-not-just for 1 or 2 people. Our server was so friendly and very accommodating without being intrusive. The view was diminished only because of a rainy morning, but still very enjoyable. And once again, our expectations were exceeded.We were treated like customers: everyone at the restaurant was happy that we were there (not a given in today's, "where is the customer service" world). The tuna was super tender and tasty. Claudia was friendly and helpful as our server. My wife had lobster. Well-prepared and tasty.Try the hot lava cake ! We arrived early and sat at the bar where the service was great. We were able to be seated 30 mins prior to our reservation, which was wonderful. The food was excellent, the menu superb, the service friendly and prompt and the atmosphere wonderful. Could see the water view even from our table at the back of the restaurant. Everyone ordered a fish dinner, local tile fish and wahoo and Atlantic salmon. All said their meal was great. I ordered the yellowfin ahi, but I thought it was so-so. Don't think it was sushi grade and it is supposed to be. It was also supposed to be spicy with a wasabi cream sauce, but it was bland. A little upset with that. So many choices and very reasonable prices for the quality and presentation of the food. We are allowed to bring our dog and sit on the patio overlooking the water. The drink specials are great and we cant think of a better place to spend a couple of hours eating, drinking and relaxing on a nice day.
