They ways enjoy its food, it's location near the Torpedo Factory and the possibility of taking boat rides. It is a gem for Alexandria.

The food was either well spiced or not spiced enough. I ordered the soup trio, all three were very good however, the crab soup, they went very heavy on the sherry and it was rather spicy. I then had the Chart House Sampler. The tuna tartare had no flavor except for the sauce, the plantain chips needed more seasoning and the lobster spring roll was good except I normally don't find coleslaw in a spring roll, so that was a surprise. Overall the view was perfect and it wasn't too loud as this was a Saturday lunch. Cons: We had a reservation for 8:00 and showed up around 7:55. They told me that they were cleaning off our table and they would seat us momentarily. We watched numerous people who did not have reservations get seated before us, I finally went up at 8:15 to check and was told we were next. It was my 1 year anniversary and when we arrived they asked if we would like to wait an extra 10 minutes for a romantic window seat because a few couples were just finishing up. We said yes and then sat at the bar for a drink. We had just enough time to order our drinks, have a few sips, and then our table was read. The menus came with a customize message at the top wishing us a happy anniversary! The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and didn't over crowd us. The food was AMAZING. We had the crab, mango and avocado app, the crab stuffed halibut, and the prime rib. Finished it off with that chocolate lava dessert...WOW!!! We started out with the crab, avocado and mango stack and an order of the oysters Rockefeller which were both excellent. In fact, I'm still thinking about those oysters.
One of my friends had the stuffed flounder and myself and my other friend both went for the Snapper Hemingway.
