Its beautiful when you first walk in and see the marina out of the large windows. I guess at the time that we got there they were rather crowded. I found the seating to be way too tight as the tables were too close together and it puts the diners in too much of a close proximity to each other. You end up overhearing everyone else's conversations and it felt like we were right in each other's faces. The service was just okay. Our waiter told us that he was primarily taking care of the OTHER side of the room but would be back and forth. I was staying at the hotel and met her for dinner at the Chart House. The atmosphere was relaxed, the servers respectful, attentive and kind without being overbearing or rude. We were able to sit and talk, catching up on each others lives and we were not pushed or hurried. The meal progressed at a perfect pace and we were not forced to eat too quickly. We ordered a lava cake for desert and it was an amazing treat! Dinner was delicious as well, and our server was very knowledgeable on the menu. Actually, it had a prix fixe option not available up North that I wish was. I was also so happy to bring my mother since she knows this is one of my fave restaurants and my husband and I use any excuse to go! Our waiter was very nice, although very slow and disappeared at the beginning. Drinks took a while and weren’t consistent with what we received at the bar. We had asked for more bread; didn’t arrive until we were eating our entrees. Calamari was good (chili sauce a bit too lime-y), Caesar salad was cold as it should be. My snapper Hemmingway was exceptional. Ran rings around the same dish at the Alexandria location. Lobster mac & cheese was very tasty although I don’t recall much lobster meat. Husband loved his ahi. The lounge has a great view with excellent service and a terrific menu. The service in the Dining room was tremendous and the view of the marina was very romantic. We will be back next time we visit AC and recommend it to all.

Our waiter for the meal was attentive, but things out of his control happened: table not set/wiped when we were sat, stale bread and just a general disconnect between the waiter and the bar backs, hostess.
While we waited for our table, we had a drink in the bar. It wasn't overly crowded yet we were politely asked to not sit at the bar tables. That is understandable since there was an additional server for those tables, but then we waited 20 minutes for our drinks. It was as if we were not important.

We were seated immediately by a window with a beautiful view of the marina. Service was excellent. Oysters Rockefeller and hummus trio were yummy. We both had the seafood mixed grill and it was to die for!
