"Service was superb and ambiance is great, food on the other hand is okay. The tableside guacamole which was not done actually tableside is pretty decent and comes with pita chips and plaintain chips. I ordered the 3 tacos, shrimp (excellent), chicken(dry and unflavorful) and kobe(delicious).My friend orderd the chicken tortilla soup and the beef empanada and she said it was good."

"We had visited this restaurant several months ago and were very pleased with food, service, atmosphere so we couldn't wait to go back. However, the dining experience was not the same. The menu had changed drastically, not even the same ethnic cuisine, ala carte for everything, high prices for what you got and only mediocre service. What a disappointment."

"I like the restaurant, but a few comments. The meat used in the Burrito was not a cut that fits the price of the meal, (chewy vs. tender) The taste was fine though. Lastly, $12 for a Margarita? We are not in NYC even if it is a better tequila.

The wait staff was attentive, so no complaints there."

"Salty salty salty.... Everything was way over salted. My friend ordered a dish with Polenta in it. There was none in it but when she asked where it was the waiter said it was just buried under the shredded brisket. The chicken tacos were not only very small but were very salty.Also when I asked for pico de galleo they brought out a bottle of hot sauce and said that was all they had.
I will never go back"

"We left soon after we sat down and saw the menu was changed so that it was only pre fixe options or tacos. We've been to Charro numerous times, and unlike most nicer and more expensive restaurants that sometimes offer pre fixe menus on special occasions, Charro was unwilling to let us order off of the normal menu. It was 6:00 pm on the Saturday before Valentine's Day, and the place was only half full. I felt insulted that they were resorting to this option to pad their obviously softening revenues and declining customer base."

"Had reviewed the menu prior and I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, they had a special menu because it was the weekend before Valentine's Day. The food and was very good, but I want to go back to get a taste of their regular menu."
