"Great place . . . decor, ambiance, etc. The food was truly fantastic. The service, on the other hand, was a disaster. There was a party of 35 that had reserved the private room in the back of the restaurant, and that seemed to absorb all of the available service resources. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a huge problem. And, because the service was so laughable, we got all of our drinks for free. But, I'd definitely have to say that the service was not on par with the quality of the food. It was unfortunate, and I probably would not return."

"I expected more from a celebrated chef like Charlie Palmer. Little imagination was put into the menu and the execution of the recipes lacked inspiration and flavor. I will not go back."

"I tried this place for lunch and was impressed to the hilt. This immediately became my favorite lunch spot. The food was amazing, the service was awesome and the atmosphere was terrific. Right when you walk in the staff is attentive and professional making you feel welcomed. The tables are spaced so you never feel crowded and even during a busy lunch I never felt rushed. I will be going back again and again to this joint."

"Made a mistake and ordered the hot dog special for Rockies opening day. Concept good but execution lacking. Hot dog was skinny and dried out. My two companions meal was fine-hamburger and sandwich. Service really slow even though many table empty. Waitress was nice."

"I went to District Meats because it was featured in 5280. I ordered the suggested entree, Pepper Crusted Coulotte Steak, and wilted greens as my side. The wilted greens were good. But the steak? Worst steak I've had in Colorado! Seriously, a Denver steak house served me a dry, tasteless, grisly cut of beef! It was more like an overdone porkchop. I didn't finish it, quickly got the check and went elsewhere. Either food critics in Colorado don't know what good food is or they got paid to feature this place in 5280. Huge disappointment!!"

"The food was AMAZING!! Lobster Corn Dogs...seriously delicious!! We were a loud, rambunctious party of 8 and fit in perfectly!! Thanks for a fantastic night! We will definitely be back!"
