Diner Reviews
  • "The place has no heart, partly caused by the restaurant design but mostly due to staff. Arrogant, rude and no reason for it. Somebody needs to start managing them. Kitchen is good."

  • "Noise level is extremely uncomfortable. Tables are too close for a romantic ambiance. That being said, quality of food is excellent and service was great."

  • "If you don't mind spending$$$$$$ then this is the place. Maybe one of the best aged strips I've had. Private labeled Pinot was outstanding. Staff was very professional."

  • "The cut of the week menu and Michael Jackson tribute menu was great! Food and service top notch. I also really loved the cornbread. I will definitely come again."

  • "As always, we were very impressed with Charlie Palmer Steak. From the moment you step out of the car in valet, the service is top notch. This was a special occasion for us, our anniversary, and the management provided complimentary champagne and a special desert. Jimmy took excellent care of us. I couldn't be more pleased!"

  • "We booked a table at Charlie Palmer's Steak for our first night in Vegas. The Cut of the Week special + wine pairing seemed too good to pass up--unlimited wine paired with a 3-course meal for $50! While the 'sides' we're just OK (basil mashed potatoes & broccolini), the tomato & watermelon salad with beets was incredibly paired with a lovely Spanish white & our perfectly-prepared hanger steak went well with a Las Rocas red. The atmosphere was a bit bland (we sat very near the entrance) and we had a difficult time finding the restaurant (downstairs at the Four Seasons part of the Mandalay Bay complex). All-in-all, we will go back for a great meal at a very reasonable price the next time we're in Vegas!"

  • "We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but were slightly dissapointed with the service on this occasion. Our entire party of 6 enjoyed the multi-course cut of the week with bottomless wine pairing and everyone in our party raved about the food. The service, however was lacking, for a restaurant of this caliber. Our water and wine glasses were empty for a considerable amount of time and on more than one occasion, we had to grab a server's attenion and ask for refills. Keeping water glasses full should be a foundation of service, at this type of restaurant, but fell short."

  • "My friends and I get together once a month for our "catch up" time. CP is perfect. Not loud, great service, awesome food!"
    Dined on 7/11/2014
  • "This is our third time dining at CP each Vegas trip. We look forward to the Cut of the Week menu all year. This year, we were treated very poorly once they heard we wanted to both order it. We were ignored. The bottomless wine pairing became a splash of white in a glass which was promptly whisked away before we could ask for a little more. We then received about 1/3 of a glass of the red wine, again without an offer to refill and a visible annoyed face when we asked for a little more. On top of that, the food was just so-so. Salad was really tasteless and boring, steak itself was good but not as excellent as it usually is and was not cooked to the requested temp ( overcooked). All in all, a poor experience and we will not return."

  • "Great steaks, no doubt. Love the choices in side sauces. The ambiance is dark. Maybe even a little dull. Maybe the music needs to be cranked up a bit. Fresh flowers on table would add something. It felt sterile. Not looking for noisy casino, just more ambiance. Felt like a business meeting restaurant. The staff are friendly. The GM is doing his rounds. Professionally run."

  • "Cut of the Week paired with unlimited wine pourings of a red and a white to match the courses: a truly elegant touch away from slot machines and tobacco. One of those places where wearing cufflinks and a necktie doesn't make you feel like you've dusted off Grampa's heirlooms."

  • "Charlie Palmer's was one of the best experiences I've dad in Las Vegas. It's a quiet oasis from the madness that is Vegas. The food was fabulous, and service immpecible. We spent 2 hours with friends relaxing and dining in an atmosphere where we could actually hear each other. I wouldn't call it a trendy cool restaurant, but elegant and classy."

  • "Steaks were mediocre at best. Way over priced for the quality."
    Dined on 7/4/2014
  • "A classy and quiet environment in which to experience food preparations that are exceptional. The red velour theme is maybe a little gaudy but the low key clubby atmosphere in what is by Las Vegas standards a small and intimate room neutralizes that aspect. A quietly sophisticated wait staff sets the stage for what the kitchen delivers and it does not disappoint. For a steakhouse--and a proud one at that--they excel at seafood. Their nightly halibut special was to my taste the best I've experienced anywhere. The Caesar salad was inspired--with the additional prosciutto to the mix. We did not expect to have desert but were presented with a peach crisp with oatmeal cookie ice cream as an anniversary surprise. Wow! Don't miss it."

  • "We decided to go to Charlie Palmer because we had been to the Michael Jackson Show and it's nearby. We stay at Four Seasons Hotels all over the world so we thought this must be a good choice. The food was very good, and the wine, although overpriced, was also very good. But the service was erratic, slow, condescending and sloppy. Our appetiser plates remained on the table for 20 mins while waiters chatted amongst each other in the corners. Then there would be a flurry of activity and again back to their corners. The restaurant was far from full. The food was great, but the whole experience should have been so much better for the price."

  • "A superb steak. A deep wine list with a sommelier who knew it--and didn't push the most expensive bottle. Attentive, if a little cool, service. And, when we declined dessert, out came miniature chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches, anyway. This was for a special client dinner, and it did not disappoint. Happy client. Happy me. Highly recommended."

  • "Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed Charlie Palmers. We all ordered the cut of the week; the food was really good, but we absolutely loved the "endless" wine pouring. And the band set a great tone without being so loud that we had to talk over the music."

  • "Excellent food, service, and ambiance from beginning to end. The only slight snag was there was a wedding party in the same area, and although they were "sectioned off", the noise from toasting, whistling, etc... was occasionally a bit disrupting, though the bride was lovely and it appeared a good time was being had by all. The overall experience was fantastic.l"

  • "Had a lovely dinner at Charlie Palmer's inside the Four Seasons. We chose the Cut of the Week and everything was fantastic. There is "bottomless" wine pairing with the starter and the main (a white and a red) but once your main is done so is the wine. Very romantic and the noise level was pretty low, so if you're looking for a place for loud chatter, large groups or music, this is probably not it. It is a nice getaway from the strip though."

  • "We have eaten here three times, and each time is less desirable than the previous visit. We always order the cut of the week because it is very affordable and you can dine in a fine restaurant at a great price. The salad was awesome, as was the side and dessert. However the bone in strip steak was comparable to shoe leather. We were especially disappointed because we canceled our other dinner reservation to go here"

  • "This is the 2nd time we've enjoyed Charlie Palmer's for their cut of the week. An ever-changing meat selection, this prix-fixe menu has a starter, the main meat entree and a dessert along with bottomless wine pairings! And the wines have always been top notch. We enjoyed the food and wines the first time. But the second time the food and wines were even better! The one thing lacking was the service. The first time we were well taken care of. The second time service lagged a bit, and the "bottomless" wine had to be coaxed out of our waiter. But they were also a bit busier the second time. I still highly recommend, and we will return next time we're in town."

  • "I requested a quiet area because we had 7 people in our party and Had a lot of business to discuss. Staff was VERY attentive, wine selection was well done and the food was perfect, everything came out hot and prepared exactly as ordered."

  • "I had the halibut and it was delicious. Also, my friends were very happy with their steaks (ribeye & filet). My Knickerbocker drink was a little strong. Our server was able to also get us out on time for our Cirq show. Great experience though!"

  • "The Service at Charlie Palmer was impeccable. I was immediately asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion. We had come here for a great steak and that is exactly what we received. My starter was very tasty as well, that of my companion was lacking a little - the spagettini were a bit overcooked and the sauce was missing something. The ambience is quiet and as would be expected from a restaurant at the four seasons."

  • "We were recommended to dine here by someone who lives in Vegas. I highly recommend the Michael Jackson Tribute and The Cut of the Week if you are hungry! (Check out the restaurant's website for the menu, not the link on the hotel's.) We were celebrating our engagement and more than one of the staff congratulated us. The manager also brought over a special dessert! The food and atmosphere were perfect. The only (small) quipe is that our wine glasses didn't get refilled fast enough a couple of times. We will definitely eat here again!"

  • "This was a wonderful dinner. The staff was very friendly, the food was fantastic. We were served a complimentary glass of champagne which was so nice! Then they gave us a dessert for my birthday. I really felt very special. The ambiance of the restaurant made the dinner that much more memorable."

  • "We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on June 2 and had a romantic dinner at cHarlie Palmers Las Vegas the cut of the week was superb and included wine paring, salad, vegetables , desert and an amazing bone-in New York steak"

  • "I have eaten here before with great results. Since the restaurant is located in Four Seasons, it is usually much quieter. On this evening, it was noisier due to a crowd at the bar. On this evening, I ordered a filet mignon, cooked medium temp, however it came out blackened on the outside to the point, I had difficulty cutting it with my ceraded knife. The server did not check back on the temperature and since we were dining with 4 other people, I did not complain. I also, did not finish it since it was too difficult to cut. Everyone else seemed pleased with their dinners. "

  • "The food at Charlie Palmer's is very good. Went for the cut of the week special for $48.00 inclusive of wine. The night we went the special menu was Watermelon & Feta salad, followed by Hanger Steak with Swiss Chard & fingerling potatoes, then dessert. White wine was serve with the first course & red wine with the main. Our glasses were never empty. Chef sent out a special appetizer to share & two extra desserts. The service was exceptional. You can't beat the cut of the week for the price. Especially since dinner with wine here would normally run you $150-$200 per person."

  • "The food is great at this steakhouse, which has the feel of a "hotel restaurant." The atmosphere for us was marred by being seated by a large and very bright flat screen tv that seemed seriously out of place."

  • " My wife and arrived late to the Las Vegas Four Seasons having driven in from 3 days in Death Valley. We were tired and although we had eaten steak at the Furnace Creek Ranch on the two previous nights, we decided to take the easy route and dine in. To say we were surprised is an understatement. We had what might be the best porterhouse of our lives. 24 ounces cooked perfectly which we shared. It was served with wild mushrooms and a light Demi-glace. It only could be described as off the charts. So good that two nights later we returned and ordered the same thing all over again. This is definitely on our return again list."

  • "We love Charlie Palmer's cut of the week, always tasty and great bottomless wine. We wanted to give the food a 5-star rating this time but had to take off 1/2 a star for the Hanger Steak being a tad too salty and chewy this time but it did have great flavor. The salad with watermelon and the chocolate mint dessert was outstanding and more than made up for it so def a solid 4 1/2 stars. Of course we will ALWAYS be back when we return to LV on our next trip. It is our absolute favorite go to restaurant when we are there!"

  • "The porterhouse steak for 2 was delectable, as was the shrimp and carrot salad appetizer. The farmers veggies were cooked to mush. The service was rather slow, intermittent, confused (English was not the servers 1st language). They didnt even offer drinks for 10 mins. Then it seemed that the server didnt expect a food order....It was mildly offensive that the hostess required my boyfriend to remove his cap while a younger person next to us donned a slouch cap. There were 2 others wearing hats. It was odd. The service was not good. The meat / seafood & salad were very good."
