  • "My wife and I wanted something special for our anniversary. What a great choice! We started with the ricotta tortellini (rich and topped with pancetta) and then shared the porterhouse for two. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. With a great steakhouse, you should not need a sauce (Bearnaise, peppercorn, etc.). That was certainly the case with Charlie Palmer Steakhouse. Even the truffle potato gratin, which was creamy and flavorful, complemented the flavor of the steak. When we were first seated, they served us two flutes of champagne for our anniversary and then, after the meal, they brought out a dessert to share as well. They took a special evening and made it fantastic!"

  • "Tomato bisque was bland at best, wagyu steak was tough which should not be the case, service was horrible! We received our appetizers before our waiter even poured us our first glass of wine. Mentioned it was my wife's birthday, a few other tables with birthdays got a lit candle in the dessert, we GOT NOTHING! The place is self looks tired...no updates for a long time.. Many other better places in Vegas to go for the money!"

  • "We wanted a special place to celebrate a birthday and were staying at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Charlie Palmer's is in the Four Seasons Hotel which is attached. We found it to have an elegant atmosphere, excellent steak and food and very attentive service. We did the set menu and they were offering a free wine pairing. Would highly recommend for a special occasion."

  • "Very pretentious maître d and sommelier. He initially went over the menu selections. I asked about Cut of the week – he walked away as he was walking away he hand signaled the sommelier some sort of signal. Tossed the Cut of week menu on our table and walked away. The cut of the week was Veal. we ended up ordering off the menu. The truffle potato flavor was overwhelming. I ordered a glass of cab - I asked for sample first - the server brought me a drop of wine. When I made my wine cab sine selection it was served in a tiny white wine glass. There were red wine glasses on the table which they removed after serving my red wine. It was $300. 1 appetizer, 1 side, 2 entrée’s, 1 glass of wine & 2 martinis."

  • "My girlfriend and I dined here this evening. We frequently visit high-end restaurants on a weekly basis. I ordered a fillet mignon medium and I received a fillet mignon medium well. I was hungry and I didn't want to return it and wait for another state to be cut so I did eat it. Also, the hostess was not at the stand when we arrived we had to wait a couple minutes upon her arrival she was not a very friendly and not welcoming. Furthermore, the tablecloth and a napkin got lint all over my suit jacket and also my girlfriend. After that we just wanted to leave. It was a terrible night and for that reason we want and never come back"

  • "We based going here on some great reviews we read and we LOVED it. The atmosphere was quiet and it seems like a great deal for the money we spent. The food tasted AMAZING and the portions are a fairly generous size. Our server overheard us talking about our friends birthday that night and brought her a complimentary dessert, which was a a total surprise. The staff was extremely attentive."

  • "Food is very good but we Didn't get the service we expected from a high class restaurant. Online menu didn't match the restaurant menu (no lobster fried rice). System was down to charge the meal back to the hotel. It wasn't handled very well as they made it seem like I did something wrong. Great food but I need much friendlier hostess and servers if I'm paying 200 for a meal."

The menu features a wide range of options including a three-course cut of the week and a special Michael Jackson tribute menu (both with bottomless wine pairings). I felt the quality of the food, service, and dining room was excellent. The value for your money with either the cut of the week or Michael Jackson tribute menu is phenomenal. A reservation for any seatings after 6pm is a must most days of the week."

We had decided to visit again during our trip to Las Vegas this year and again had a wonderful and delicious dinner there. We had the "Cut of the Week" menu which you have to request and we were not disappointed. The service, ambience and meal were excellent. It will definitely be our place to have a special dinner when we come to Vegas."

  • "We booked a table at Charlie Palmer's Steak for our first night in Vegas. The Cut of the Week special + wine pairing seemed too good to pass up--unlimited wine paired with a 3-course meal for $50! While the 'sides' we're just OK (basil mashed potatoes & broccolini), the tomato & watermelon salad with beets was incredibly paired with a lovely Spanish white & our perfectly-prepared hanger steak went well with a Las Rocas red. The atmosphere was a bit bland (we sat very near the entrance) and we had a difficult time finding the restaurant (downstairs at the Four Seasons part of the Mandalay Bay complex). All-in-all, we will go back for a great meal at a very reasonable price the next time we're in Vegas!"

Our entire party of 6 enjoyed the multi-course cut of the week with bottomless wine pairing and everyone in our party raved about the food. The service, however was lacking, for a restaurant of this caliber. Our water and wine glasses were empty for a considerable amount of time and on more than one occasion, we had to grab a server's attenion and ask for refills. Keeping water glasses full should be a foundation of service, at this type of restaurant, but fell short."

  • "This is our third time dining at CP each Vegas trip. We look forward to the Cut of the Week menu all year. This year, we were treated very poorly once they heard we wanted to both order it. We were ignored. The bottomless wine pairing became a splash of white in a glass which was promptly whisked away before we could ask for a little more. We then received about 1/3 of a glass of the red wine, again without an offer to refill and a visible annoyed face when we asked for a little more. On top of that, the food was just so-so. Salad was really tasteless and boring, steak itself was good but not as excellent as it usually is and was not cooked to the requested temp ( overcooked). All in all, a poor experience and we will not return."

  • "A classy and quiet environment in which to experience food preparations that are exceptional. The red velour theme is maybe a little gaudy but the low key clubby atmosphere in what is by Las Vegas standards a small and intimate room neutralizes that aspect. A quietly sophisticated wait staff sets the stage for what the kitchen delivers and it does not disappoint. For a steakhouse--and a proud one at that--they excel at seafood. Their nightly halibut special was to my taste the best I've experienced anywhere. The Caesar salad was inspired--with the additional prosciutto to the mix. We did not expect to have desert but were presented with a peach crisp with oatmeal cookie ice cream as an anniversary surprise. Wow! Don't miss it."

  • "We decided to go to Charlie Palmer because we had been to the Michael Jackson Show and it's nearby. We stay at Four Seasons Hotels all over the world so we thought this must be a good choice. The food was very good, and the wine, although overpriced, was also very good. But the service was erratic, slow, condescending and sloppy. Our appetiser plates remained on the table for 20 mins while waiters chatted amongst each other in the corners. Then there would be a flurry of activity and again back to their corners. The restaurant was far from full. The food was great, but the whole experience should have been so much better for the price."

  • "Had a lovely dinner at Charlie Palmer's inside the Four Seasons. We chose the Cut of the Week and everything was fantastic. There is "bottomless" wine pairing with the starter and the main (a white and a red) but once your main is done so is the wine. Very romantic and the noise level was pretty low, so if you're looking for a place for loud chatter, large groups or music, this is probably not it. It is a nice getaway from the strip though."

An ever-changing meat selection, this prix-fixe menu has a starter, the main meat entree and a dessert along with bottomless wine pairings! And the wines have always been top notch. We enjoyed the food and wines the first time. But the second time the food and wines were even better! The one thing lacking was the service. The first time we were well taken care of. The second time service lagged a bit, and the "bottomless" wine had to be coaxed out of our waiter. But they were also a bit busier the second time. I still highly recommend, and we will return next time we're in town."
