Highly recommend for special occassions. Great wine list but pricey, make sure you are ready to spend at least $150/bottle. Tomahawk pork chop, filet, and the truffle mac and cheese are my favorites!

The food was off the charts. I eat my red meat WELL DONE. I'm sure the chef hates to hear a request of well done meat. Well, he still made it to perfection. Side dishes were amazing as well. Be sure to get the au gratin potatoes. The only bad thing was not food related. The tables were very tight (close together) and not much surface space (cluttered).

at $48 this 3-course prix fixe would be a good deal at any high end steakhouse in LV, but with the bottomless wine pairings included this becomes a fantastic deal. Generous portions, steak cooked perfectly and a beautiful dessert. Our group of 8 was seated in a segregated dining area which made our birthday dinner feel that much more special. Only downside to our visit was a next room group (wedding party?) that was quite loud (acceptable) but full of profanities (not acceptable at this type of establishment). Our table was also a little too dark - needed a flashlight to see bill. Definitely worth the drive to the Four Seasons Hotel (at Mandalay Bay). We will be back!

Went with some friends. Seated in corner and all noise concentrated there so it was loud. Started with beef carpaccio and tortellini; the pasta was great, the beef had NO flavor, was way to thin, and the arugula overpowered the delicate beef. Then had steaks: filet was perfect, tender, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. The porterhouse, not so much. I think the salt grinder was broken as there was zero seasoning. Steak was heavily charred for a medium. Total dissappointment. Sides were the potatoe purée, au gratin, and corn... Meh... All steak houses can do that. Dessert we had cheesecake and the hazelnut bar, those were excellent. With all the great steak places in Vegas, I will not return to this one. Sigh... It was a lot of money.

There is no question that the Cut of the Week is one of the best values on the Strip. You receive a 3 course menu with sides, and wine pairings with the 1st two courses. All for $48. I've enjoyed this twice. Once the cut was lamb and this time it was a steak. Both were very good. It is everything you expect from CP and from Four Seasons.

Food is great as expected (save for the dessert) but disappointed by the dramatic drop in service, from the hostess greeting to service throughout the meal. Had Cut of the Week -- seems CoTW patrons now get 2nd rate service. Warm apple cake dessert came cold; server tells us it is room temperature!!?? A once favourite; now it is hard to return or recommend.

Whenever I am in in Vegas, one dinner is always here. Outstanding wine list, quiet, elegant service and womderful food. Sadly, this. night, they had a sales/marketing group in the main dining room that was LOUD. 3 couples asked to be reseated. Next time, I'll call and ask if they have any groups planned and choose another night.

We spent a lot of money on drinks and dinner for eight people (over $1250) and got lousy service at the bar and from our waiters. There were two bartenders working when we met for drinks before dinner but only one seemed to be serving customers so we had long waits to get our drinks. Our dinner was ruined by unusually long wait times to have our food order taken and then the time it took to bring the food. We waited about 30-40 minutes to be served appetizers and then another 30-40 minutes to get our main courses. I ordered my steak medium rare and received a rare steak but the waiter did not come to check on our order for 15 minutes until after the food was served. We skipped dessert.

Celebrated my 65th birthday with friends and was extremely pleased with our dinner! The overall meal was prepared and presented well and the taste was very pleasing! We had the cut of the week prix fixe and all 3 courses were perfect. The wine pairing from the Italian regions was perfect and complemented both the starter and entrée well! The service provided by George and the others was on time and attentive yet discreet. The special extra touch of champagne for my birthday was much appreciated! I recommend again Charlie Palmers for a great evening out and the "Cut of the Week" with wine pairing is always a hit!

I love this restaurant, because it's tucked into a corner of the Four Seasons inside Mandalay Bay, and it's away from the madding crowd. It's dark and romantic, and they have a jazz trio that plays (which can get a tad loud, but it's still nice ambience). The food is consistently excellent and really inventive (their salads are unbelievable), and the service is top-notch. We go here almost every time we're in Vegas, which is kind of a lot.

Went there for the first time this past weekend, after hearing about it for years. Needless to say, we had better overall experiences at other steak houses in LV. The steaks were just ok -- nothing special -- but also not bad. Service was just ok -- again nothing special. Servers were timely in serving dinner and drinks, but when 1 of our party asked for horse radish to go with his steak and after a 10 minute wait got Bearnaise sauce instead. Our group makes an annual pilgrimage to LV for 3 days each year in early September with 1-2 steakhouses on our itinerary; needless to say, this likely will be our 1 and only visit to Charlie Palmers

I was staying at Mandalay Bay and had a confirmed reservation through OpenTable. So they should have known who I was. Nevertheless, when I wanted to pay through room charge, I was asked to hand over my driver license (i.e. not just show it). After about 10 minutes the waiter returned and told me that the Mandalay Bay staff "wasn't picking up the phone" and gave the license back to me. That was the end of a meal that started with having to wait 30 minutes for a cocktail (nothing exotic, just a regular Negroni). While I was waiting for the cocktail, the waiter twice came to take my order. When I asked about the cocktail he told me that the bar tender "wasn't responding". The food was acceptable, but the service was not. I won't come back.

Sorry, but CP's is not suitable on Monday's if you are going for a special occasion. Turns out they have "music" on Mondays' right in the middle of the restaurant. It's so loud you can't have a conversation without shouting. We tried reseating to a corner that was away from the band, but the volume was still too much. I should also note that it looked like the area we were in was an overflow area seldom used. Had our drinks and asked for the check. They still charged us for the drinks even though they knew we were not happy with the situation. Too bad, we looked forward to a nice time for our 35th wedding anniversary.

I felt very at home here, I made the comment to my date that I felt like we were dining in someone's mansion. The portions were just right, the bisque has to be my favorite appetizer. The servers kept our wine glasses and waters filled. The only complaint I have is the booth-like chairs we were seated at were uncomfortable for dining. The seat was angled in a way that kept us from being able to sit up closer to the table. Our server told us about their weekly specials and will definitely come back hungry for more.

My wife and I wanted something special for our anniversary. What a great choice! We started with the ricotta tortellini (rich and topped with pancetta) and then shared the porterhouse for two. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. With a great steakhouse, you should not need a sauce (Bearnaise, peppercorn, etc.). That was certainly the case with Charlie Palmer Steakhouse. Even the truffle potato gratin, which was creamy and flavorful, complemented the flavor of the steak. When we were first seated, they served us two flutes of champagne for our anniversary and then, after the meal, they brought out a dessert to share as well. They took a special evening and made it fantastic!

Very pretentious maître d and sommelier. He initially went over the menu selections. I asked about Cut of the week – he walked away as he was walking away he hand signaled the sommelier some sort of signal. Tossed the Cut of week menu on our table and walked away. The cut of the week was Veal. we ended up ordering off the menu. The truffle potato flavor was overwhelming. I ordered a glass of cab - I asked for sample first - the server brought me a drop of wine. When I made my wine cab sine selection it was served in a tiny white wine glass. There were red wine glasses on the table which they removed after serving my red wine. It was $300. 1 appetizer, 1 side, 2 entrée’s, 1 glass of wine & 2 martinis.
