Celebrated Chef Charlie Palmer has received critical acclaim for his signature progressive American cooking, a style built on rambunctious flavors and unexpected combinations. The seasonally-inspired menu spotlights regional ingredients and is complemented by a diverse wine list highlighting an impressive collection of small artisan producers.

The social lounge is ideal for shared small plates and fun whimsical cocktails. The dining room features a la carte menu selections as well as prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. The private dining room, accented by a massive wine wall, offers weekly wine tastings and monthly wine dinners, and can be reserved for private events.

Located inside the restaurant is Next Vintage wine shop, which allows shoppers to select from the restaurant's trademark, eclectic lists of food forward wines at retail pricing.

  • "We had a party of 4 dining Friday Night, We were seated and the waiter came over and asked about water and not cocktails and left, we then ordered drinks after about 10 mins and then it took 15 mins to get drinks. Ordered Appetizers and those came out in a timely manner, but the waiter was very inattentive which was not a great way to start. We ordered dinner and came out and two dished were good and hot the other one was cold and there was one that had spoiled scallops. We called a manager over and he did all he could to save the evening and could not. He did do the right thing and paid for comped out dinner and we left and went to Capital Grille, which is always a pleasure to go to."

  • "Recommend happy hour at the bar which seemed to be a happening scene (till 6pm and restarts at 9pm), not sit-down dinner as the group of girls that I went with opted for. We ended up paying $40/head for a drink each and some small plates, and walked away still hungry eg $15 ravioli on app menu only has two pieces! Felt pressure from the waiter to order more food which was also uncomfortable. Food itself was tasty but just wouldn't plan to pay that much for it again."

  • "We tried for years to find a time that we could dine here. There is always a long wait to get in, and reservations at 7:00pm are not to be found. For our anniversary dinner, we decided to take the 8:00pm reservation and finally give it a try. Not at all what we expected. Dining room was nice, light & open. Lots of families with small kids. We were expecting a more traditional chop house with more adults. Waiter was French, boorish & annoying. He kept trying to make jokes, which may have been funny in Paris, but just came out insulting here. Wine selection was really good. Our 1st choice was out of stock, but that happens. Our second choice was very good. However, the food was just 'ok' and portions were tiny and prices were high."

  • "Planned my birthday gathering with a few couples Saturday evening. Good wine. Just OK appetizers. The bacon wrapped figs were great. The flatbread pizza - nothing special. The spring rolls - one bite - tasted like hot grease to me. My husband ordered the scallops - had to send them back - they were raw. I had the flat iron steak. It was very good - but I wouldn't rush back here to get it. The biggest faux pas - my husband - unknown to me - delivered a birthday cake earlier in the day. Our server had no idea. My husband had to find the manager to complain. He was not happy. They brought out the cake - but the coffee did not come until we finished eating the cake."

  • "I've dined here several times and always enjoyed it, this time just seemed different. The restaurant seems to have lost it's air of exclusivity, it feels more welcoming now, and not like a special occasion place. It was rather quiet when I went for lunch and there were 3 tables with baby strollers. When this place first opened I never saw small children here as it felt more high-end ladies who lunch type of place, now it feels more family oriented. Anyhow I had the trio of sliders and they were very good as well as very good service."

  • "Had very high expectations for Charlie Palmer, but it was just not quite on par with other restaurants in this price level. First, $14 cocktails need to be extra special, ours were okay, but nothing to write home about. Second, the menu was extremely limited on this particular night, no bone marrow, no duck, no lamb shank, etc. But the pork chop and rib eye we ordered were well cooked and tasty. The best dish we had was the crispy brussel sprout small dish. The panna cotta was just okay. Overall, it was just a B or B + experience, which just doesn't cut it for the top end price point."

  • "Our 3 to 4 times a year place for a relaxing dinner sharing small plates, dessert and a bottle of wine, usually a German Reisling. Had some old favorites, mussels in beer, escargot in pastry, bacon wrapped stuffed dates, charcuterie, pork & chicken spriing rolls, molten chocolate cake with pomegranite ice cream. All excellent as usual. Cesar and staff are great servers and Augustus was very helpful with the wine. We were tempted by the seafood entrees, but opted again to get more flavors with the small plates. Can't go wrong either way. Not a big deal, but in the past, they have had an amuse bouche to begin, a small sweet taste after and cookies to take home. This was a nice touch, but maybe it has been discontinued."

  • "We were impressed from the moment we walked in. Our French waiter, Michel, who was friendly, knowledgeable and very well experienced in the art of serving. We chose the four-course Christmas Eve dinner. The starter, a foam creation whose name escapes me, came in a tall shot glass, with flavor-infused foam, chocolate nibs and other mysterious flavors topped with a single housemade chip. For the second round, my wife selected the lobster risotto, and I chose the pear salad with prosciutto and goat cheese. She had the Sea Bream and I had the duo of Waygu beef for the main event, and both were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Dessert was panna cotta with a chocolate base and flanked with berry ice. It was a meal, and an evening, to remember."

  • "This restaurant has so much potential - the interior is beautiful, the menu interesting. However the service was atrocious. We sat for 15 minutes before being approached by our waiter. Food was marginal. And I received my glass of wine meant to go with my meal after we were done dining. Our table was so close to the next that the waiter bumped me every time he served at that table. Worst, I was seated facing a blank wall. I am willing to pay high prices when the food and service warrants it, but this restaurant has an inflated view of itself. I review dining experiences often, and this is the first time I can say I will never return."

The service was too much..in other words every few minutes a waiter was coming by and asking if I was finished with my dinner...too much! The other complaint is I could only make a reservation on line. A person to ask questions of in the middle of the day would have been helpful."

  • "My boss took our team of six to dinner for the holidays. When a couple of us first arrived, we sat for about 15 minutes before we had to wave to a waiter to take our drink order. When a couple more people arrived, we again had to flag a waiter down, which was odd as there was no shortage of waiters huddled around. When our entire party arrived, our waiter finally arrived to take our food order. When our food arrived, two of six plates had to be returned to the kitchen as the pork was severely under cooked. By the time their food was brought out, the rest of us had already finished our dinner. For being such an expensive place, I would have expected better service, especially with Mortons, Maestos and Leatherbys around the corner."

The food was very good, we especially enjoyed the soup special (butternut squash with marshmallow foam), the beet salad, the brussel sprouts side (to die for!), and the pork chops. Our server was super friendly, but service overall was VERY slow, especially considering that we were there after regular dinner hours (9-11 pm). After getting seated it took 14 minutes for a server to show up, then another 20 before our first appetizer arrived... Anyhow, the quality of the food will definitely bring us back, hoping for a smoother service next time."
