Celebrated Chef Charlie Palmer has received critical acclaim for his signature progressive American cooking, a style built on rambunctious flavors and unexpected combinations. The seasonally-inspired menu spotlights regional ingredients and is complemented by a diverse wine list highlighting an impressive collection of small artisan producers.

The social lounge is ideal for shared small plates and fun whimsical cocktails. The dining room features a la carte menu selections as well as prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. The private dining room, accented by a massive wine wall, offers weekly wine tastings and monthly wine dinners, and can be reserved for private events.

Located inside the restaurant is Next Vintage wine shop, which allows shoppers to select from the restaurant's trademark, eclectic lists of food forward wines at retail pricing.

  • "I am a little disappointed in our lunch. The salmon as well as the chicken was overcooked although the accompaniments to these dishes were very good and tasteful. Other side dishes served were indeed also very good and tasty. Nevertheless, I do think this restaurant is quite worthy of another try."

  • "For a restaurant with a big time chef's name, the food was pretty ordinary. Three of us dined and agreed that, sadly, the salads and bread were the best parts of the meal, despite each ordering a different entrée (one from the pre-theater menu). The quality of the steak was disappointing: stringy & chewy, and the salmon was oversalted with a cloying lemon sauce. The apricot panna cotta was tasty but the texture was off, too gelatinous. Service was competent but hurried and insincere. Overall not worth the prices. This is the sixth time we've dined here, I think we keep hoping it will get just a little better at meeting our expectations, but next time we'll probably just give it a miss. There are so many other good options in the SCP area."

  • "My wife and I went their for a date. The service was excellent every need taken care of. My wife ordered a drink and didn't like it. She only drank half and ordered a different drink the server asked if she didn't like it took it off our bill without even asking. The food was delicious my wife ordered the flat iron steak and said "wow" afterwards. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered and was decent size. I had the Halibut special. The seafood was fresh and seasoned to enrich the taste. Afterwards they gave free dessert, mini tart, Perfect touch! All in all a great experience, would go back. Our bill was $110 for both plates and 4 drinks w/appetizer. Will definately go back."

  • "We decided to try the chef's tasting menu for our meal this time. Amazing. Chef Kim came out and discussed what we liked and he personally brought out each dish and explained it. We did 6 courses and each one was perfect-paired nicely with different wines. Great job on the pairing too. It was so fun and such a treat for us. Will be doing this again and can't wait to see what the chef will come up with next! Thank you for a wonderful evening."

  • "Made reservations on open table, check menu, usually we pick possible our meals, in the restaurant they said there was only mother day menu, not what we saw on line, we stay and order from the mother day menu. a few minutes latter they serve other people meals that I saw on the on line's menu. I sure they wanted to push the mother day menu, poor choices and overprice. This is the first time I complain about my dinning experiences, see my record. Will not go back to this place and hope you Open Table do something about this. Totally lack of respect shame on you. Dr. Ralph Sanchez jr."

  • "Been to Charlie Palmer for the last 3 Thanksgivings in a row, and this last time for Mother's Day. The food is uniformly very good -- had a terrific baked salmon and an unusual take on key lime pie. Portions are a bit small for the money. Service is VERY attentive, and a mistake on this trip was fixed in minutes. I was there with family, but saw others there with dates -- it's a great place for that. When full, the place is loud, and the lights are kept low at night, so it's best for adults. From past experience, though, kids are well taken care of if you bring them. Charlie Palmer at Bloomingdale's is a strong all-around performer."

  • "We had a party of 4 dining Friday Night, We were seated and the waiter came over and asked about water and not cocktails and left, we then ordered drinks after about 10 mins and then it took 15 mins to get drinks. Ordered Appetizers and those came out in a timely manner, but the waiter was very inattentive which was not a great way to start. We ordered dinner and came out and two dished were good and hot the other one was cold and there was one that had spoiled scallops. We called a manager over and he did all he could to save the evening and could not. He did do the right thing and paid for comped out dinner and we left and went to Capital Grille, which is always a pleasure to go to."

  • "Recommend happy hour at the bar which seemed to be a happening scene (till 6pm and restarts at 9pm), not sit-down dinner as the group of girls that I went with opted for. We ended up paying $40/head for a drink each and some small plates, and walked away still hungry eg $15 ravioli on app menu only has two pieces! Felt pressure from the waiter to order more food which was also uncomfortable. Food itself was tasty but just wouldn't plan to pay that much for it again."

  • "We tried for years to find a time that we could dine here. There is always a long wait to get in, and reservations at 7:00pm are not to be found. For our anniversary dinner, we decided to take the 8:00pm reservation and finally give it a try. Not at all what we expected. Dining room was nice, light & open. Lots of families with small kids. We were expecting a more traditional chop house with more adults. Waiter was French, boorish & annoying. He kept trying to make jokes, which may have been funny in Paris, but just came out insulting here. Wine selection was really good. Our 1st choice was out of stock, but that happens. Our second choice was very good. However, the food was just 'ok' and portions were tiny and prices were high."

  • "Planned my birthday gathering with a few couples Saturday evening. Good wine. Just OK appetizers. The bacon wrapped figs were great. The flatbread pizza - nothing special. The spring rolls - one bite - tasted like hot grease to me. My husband ordered the scallops - had to send them back - they were raw. I had the flat iron steak. It was very good - but I wouldn't rush back here to get it. The biggest faux pas - my husband - unknown to me - delivered a birthday cake earlier in the day. Our server had no idea. My husband had to find the manager to complain. He was not happy. They brought out the cake - but the coffee did not come until we finished eating the cake."

  • "I've dined here several times and always enjoyed it, this time just seemed different. The restaurant seems to have lost it's air of exclusivity, it feels more welcoming now, and not like a special occasion place. It was rather quiet when I went for lunch and there were 3 tables with baby strollers. When this place first opened I never saw small children here as it felt more high-end ladies who lunch type of place, now it feels more family oriented. Anyhow I had the trio of sliders and they were very good as well as very good service."
