I particularly liked the "Small Plate" options which allowed me to select small portions of a variety of things. I ordered Escargot Dumplings, Lamb Meatballs and Pork Belly. All were beautifully presented although disappointingly unremarkable. The Chinese dumpling with a snail inside was interesting but I guess I prefer the French style where the wonderful garlic butter sauce is left for mopping up with bread after the snail is gone. The lamb meatballs were in a spaghetti sauce and tasted very much like the meatballs I make at home - good but not special. The pork belly definitely required the heavy duty knife provided. Once we had entrees and salad, but since then only sharing plates in order to get more tastes and really spend a relaxing evening. This is one of few restaurants that still offer such choices. Most have abandoned the concept and are going back to overly large entrees that we do not enjoy as much. The menu is extensive as is the wine list. The ambience is open and airy, however the noise level increases as the bar area becomes more crowded.
