Not the BEST or most gourmet Italian in Town, but a great standard by which others are judged. Very good. The food is excellent and a great way to sample the best of the neighborhood. This is the home of the cliche St. Louis dish, toasted raviolis, but it's not frozen pasta tossed in a deep fryer but an amazing and delicious appetizer.
Service is superb and from the time we were greeted by the valet parking attendant, reception, drinks at the bar and our table everyone was genuinely and authentically concerned about our service and experience and worked hard to ensure we had a stellar experience. These people treat you like an honored guest from beginning to end.

It can be a bit pricey, but well worth it for special occasions. It was a bit cold at our table when we arrived. We mentioned it to our waiter and he immediately adjusted the air and in moments we were all comfortable. They took a very personal interest in our comfort.
