The food is always outstanding and the staff is professional and inviting. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it was Mother's Day which meant they needed to add more tables to accommodate all the families, including our family of 10, that wanted to honor their mom's with the best Italian restaurant around. Our table had the sea bass, chicken saltimboca, spaghetti and meatballs and seafood risotto. Everything was excellet and the sea bass was divine.

We were seated near the bar area and there was a very loud and obnoxious behaving couple near our table, so we asked immediately, to be moved. The next table we were placed at, turns out had been reserved so we had to move again (they were very apologetic). The third table was fine but had cold air blowing on us and they kindly turned it down.
It was difficult to decide as each appetizer looked wonderful. The dishes we chose were, eggplant Napolean, a halibut special with risotto, lamb saltombica and pasta with chicken. Every dish was excellent. Food is very good overall - they have a few rough edges (overcooked Salmon on the last visit, skimpy seafood quantities in the seafood pasta), but for the price in Chesterfield it's hard to beat. Great environment - beautiful lighting and decoration. Service is impeccable. It is a little loud on weekend nights but not overwhelming, and not very kid friendly, but these aren't deal breakers.

One complaint I have is that I do not like when they clear the plates the second someone is done eating and box up the leftovers to sit on the table while other people are still eating. It makes the people who are still eating feel rushed. I would prefer the staff to wait until everyone is finished with their meal. I also thought the restaurant was noisy although it really was not crowded. I felt like an honored guest. The pace of the meal was perfect. No rush no lag between courses. Just a great evening.
