The food is to die for and the ambience is very lively. The resaurant has a casual elegance that makes any occasion seem extra special. The food is well prepared and very, very tasty. She did not know exactly where the restaurant was or how to get there, so we took an "advance scouting" trip to find it and have dinner. We were there on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was not busy which we appreciated. The food was outstanding in every way, and the waiters, waitresses and all the staff were efficient and friendly but not obtrusive. There was something for everyone. The food on the salad table was fresh and delicious. The sushi was inviting. The Charley's Crab rolls are to die for! While I passed on the breakfast food, all of the dinner food was hot from the steam tables. The carving table meats were done to perfection. The dessert table had a very nice variety of sweets and each of them that we sampled were delectable. Food was great, as usual. My Mom just raved about how they cooked her green bean veggie medley. One kind of annoying thing. They were not busy, yet they sat us right next to two other tables of people. The one couple was very LOUD, so we had to listen to their entire conversation our entire meal. The Eggs Benedict were mediocre at best and the shrimp was very disappointing (not completely skinned)...I've never left shrimp unfinished on my plate before, but had to in this case. The coffee was excellent and the service was spot on.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great place to eat.Wonderful atmosphere. Very clean restaurant. Our table overlooked the river and it was beautiful. Place was quiet, could carry on conversations easily. Staff was very nice and very professional, the waitress knew the menu very well and offered great suggestions of food items. The lobster bisque is always delicious, just wish I could have more. Had coconut shrimp appetizer, next time I think I will get the meal, it was that good. Had to pass on dessert, too full from all the other food, which was mahi mahi with crab.
